I thought that was the name for the way things looked. IDk, maybe I'm just supposed to mess with frames. That would explain a lot now that I think of it.

Ok, the first mistake was an honest mistake. The second mistake, I don't know what happened. Anyways, I'm sure it's in the right thread this time.

Ok, let me explain this one more time. i'm trying to make a basic selection screen for an RPG battle. however, I don't know how to mess with viewing states. I tried to google it. I got stuff that might be helpful to some people, but confused me. I need a basic example of code for messing with veiwing states. Depending on how it's done, I might not even need a full example. Thank you to anyone that helps, and sorry for the spamming I caused in the past.

Newbie in pearil Posted March 6th, 2012 in Where is / How to?

Ok, so I'm somewhat new to useing flash to program games. Right now, I'm trying to make a basic RPG fight menu. However, I don't know how to mess with states. I tried googling it, but half of what I find doesn't even relate to flash, and the other half is step by step instructions, which is great for some people, but is very confusing to me. I need a basic example of the proper code to making and changeing viewing states. Depending on how it's done, I might not even need it in full detail. Thanks to whoever takes the time to help me out.

Thank you, also to explain an earlier post, job and education are important because I then get a small idea of what your life is like, and I already said that I no longer need names, at all.

There's just going to be a bunch of flaming here, isn't there?

Lol, youve got to be out of your mind

I don't know exactly what you mean, but I do admit I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree. However, if you stopped there, you may want to go on before jumping to conclusions.

Ok, here's some news on the assignment. I didn't get enough to pass the assignment, but I just barley failed and I doubt I'll fail the class because this is the beginning of the term. Also, I have an assignment due Thursday on what my target audience is, which I haven't quite figured out. Because of this, I would like to ask for more surveys, but you no longer need to give your names due to this just being research for another assignment now. I would like the other information to be told though because it is important. Also thanks for helping to those who did.

I figured that, that's why I didn't do this until the last moment, and to be honest, you're kind of right. I just might do that.

I thank you. The survey is to find the target market for a product due much later. My teacher won't accept sarcastic answers, so be serious, and honest too please. I think that's it.
So the game's level up. and the survey's here too. Even if you've played it before, please play level up for 5-10 minutes before filling out the survey. Here's the survey.

Crud, I forgot something, so it's not open to the public, I suggest that the survey is PM'd to me.

In need of homework help. Posted December 7th, 2009 in General

I need help with my home work, as the title states. I need a survey filled out by a number of people and the assignment's due tomorrow. The survey is about a game found here that I did not help to make or own in any way. Now that piracy's out of the way, the main issue is that my teacher won't accept the survey unless some personal information is given, and this information includes your first and last name. I know and understand how people feel about this, which is why I was neglectful to come here. Obviously, you don't have to fill this out, but if you do, please note the following.

That's just plane old cruel. "How'd your lv. 100 Gyradose get beat?" "A level 1 ratata beat it."

Actually, I remember it working that way now, my mistake.

Response to: Pokemon Combos Posted February 28th, 2009 in Video Games

So, are you saying use wrap every turn or just when it wears off. I could have sworn it works like fire spin or whirlpool and not different at all.
By the way if anyone wants to battle I'm willing to accept, although I'm not that good.
My code is 0001-2558-0342
Finally, a combo I thought of is rain dance and dry skin. You get healed and stop any weather your opponent might have.

Actually, being warped just means you receive damage at the end of every turn for a while, but it still let's you move, and paralization doesn't always work as far as stoping someone from moving.

I've been working at it. This is college, the place where you're bombarded with homework. Well, anyway thanks for your help. :-)

help Posted October 27th, 2008 in General

I need to find screenshots of Luigi's Mansion, specifically menus, for a school project that's due tomorrow and google wasn't helpful enough. I know this isn't the ideal place to ask but I don't have other connections that would be able to help. So, does anyone know where I could find some?
