I second that. If you really want your own sprite, why don't you first learn to spell (there's this little thing called spellcheck, it's quite useful, you may want to investigate it before bitching to the rest of us-it just proves how worthless your posts are) and then make some of your own? People like you never take into consideration that maybe, just maybe, we might actually all have lives outside of spriting, and if we are going to be so generous as to spend the hours it takes to make a sprite for someone else, that person better ask nicely first. Nice going bozo, now you have an ice cube's chance in fucking hell that anyone is going to even consider your request. Stop assuming that just because you don't know us, and we don't know where you live, that you have the right to treat us like we're taking requests, because we're not, and moreover, even if we were taking requests, you would have to give us some respect. Alright, I searched extensively through the BBS archives, and to my utter disbelief, I was unable to find a club recognizing The_Swain and his ingenious Blockhead flashes. Now, I know I've probably just made some idiotic mistake (not using the right keywords or whatnot), and if there is indeed already an establishment devoted to Blockhead, I would truly appreciate a point in the right direction...however, if on the off chance that no one else has started such a topic (which seems unlikely in the plethora of clubs and crews)...then welcome to the BLOCKHEAD club!...there are no specific parameters except that you avoid posting thoughtless comments (i.e. spam), and anything said that is geered towards Blockhead in a constructive way is much appreciated... :)

the reason you havent seen any of my photo sketches is because alas..... i have no scanner.... all my people drawings are drawn on paper. :'(

Actually, that would be great (but, if it turns out you have no time, then no worries)...I have a picture of myself on my profile, but I have better ones on my comp-oh and about the scanner problem...if by chance you have a digital camera and can hook it up to your computer, then you could always take a picture of your masterpiece and upload it...the resolution wouldn't be as good, but if you zoom in, then at least you could get some form of it on your computer...just a suggestion :)

(sorry about the double post, I'm a bad person, I know it) Throughout this whole stint making sprites and such, I've been experimenting with different techniques as to how to recreate these pictures...and blah, blah blah...to make a long story short, I'm curious- which one of these sprites is your favorite ? And if none of them are (i.e. I suck), then how do you feel I can improve at this? Like I mentioned upon starting this thread, my goal in creating this sprites is to improve (which I believe that I at least have a little)...and I would greatly appreciate some feedback...

Actually, I have checked your deviantart page a few times, and I must say that I am definitely impressed. Strangely enough, my favorite drawing of yours was the Kagome picture you said you sketched in like 7 minutes, that just has her looking towards the viewer-you're very talented with faces and hair :D You have a lot of talent (no matter what some other self-centered users say), and if you keep on improving, I'm sure you'll finally get the recognition you truly deserve.

Haha-thanks so much, I've actually repeated myself 7 times, but I truly appreciate the extra announcement (maybe your's will finally get through to them)...ok, for those who do not understand, here's the lowdown *again*...I will not take ANY more requests right now (I stopped around the middle of page 11)...but there is a CHANCE that some other spriters will pick up where I left off...I may pick this thread up later (once school is in full fling), and then MAYBE I will get back to some of the others...also, if there is a DESPERATE need for a sprite (i.e. you're making a flash or something that may be put to good use), then you may pm me, and I'll select some requests to fufill at my choice...

Another fact that makes movies, well, movies...that hardly ever happens in real life, unless the person is surrounded by friends or is elderly...but even then, I know that if I randomly fell down, my friends would just point and laugh at me...

Newgrounds probably isn't the best place to make best friends anyways (although there definitely are some cool people here)...one rule of thumb-don't be offended by what others say, because half the time they're just trying to boost their post count or make themselves feel better...just be patient, and don't come here looking to boost your popularity...

Haha, no worries, I got myself into this, so I should at least make a decent effort getting myself out of it...and if you wouldn't mind copying and posting the list, that would be fantastic, but no pressure there...I'm still working on the mario sprite sheet (bleh, I have to make about 120 sprites total), but I definitely intend to finish it by your deadline...

Yea, I probably should just throw in the towel, but I want to stick to my word and at least finish those that I said I would (eh...what can I say, I'm a sucker)...I think maybe girls may sometimes be a bit more patient (but don't get me wrong, we can be real bitches at times as well XD), but I'm not so sure about the stamina thing myself...and remember, you definitely started your thread earlier than mine, and I give you major props for going as far as you did :) Oh yes, and I did see your posts at the club, and I have to admit, even though the subject mater wasn't my cup of tea (I am a girl after all), your newest drawing was in my opinion the best one yet :) I'm interested to see what everyone else can do with it...

So sorry about the long wait, some of you guys know the usual excuse: my amount of free time is directly proportional to the dwindling days left of summer...anyways, I decided to make one of Tom Fulp (I actually have already made the NG tank , but not just the little tank guy himself) because I made one of Wade awhile back, and I felt it would only be fair to do the both of them...I took the advice given to me before about the last sprite, and I really tried to add more contrast this time, so hopefully there's at least a little improvement there-and I will post this once more for your convenience because otherwise most of you guys wouldn't see this- I am not taking any new requests on this forum right now- INCLUDING (sorry about the caps) people with second requests now, I understand that some of you guys are making flashes (props to you!) and you need sprites, but in that case, PM me, and hopefully I could fulfill your request in the near distant future (but no promises)...oh and to _Twone_ - hope you like it! :)

Hmmm...this is an interesting topic, one that I've actually thought about before...I know nobody probably gives a damn about my opinion, but it seems to me that mods have to deal with a lot of unecessary (sp.) complaining from all sorts of BBS users. I've always wondered what the average number of useless pms they get from people complaining about their bans, reporting those who've pissed them off, and just plain garbage. Even though sometimes it seems that they can crack down pretty harm on offenders, I've always respected mods for taking all of the whining from BBS users that they do. Nonetheless, I think that it would be really interesting to view the difference in how other users treat you when they recognize that you're a mod...it seems that one of two things happen most of the time: either <1> people start bitching at you just so they can increase their post count and say that they told off a mod...or <2> they start kissing your ass so they can increase their post count and say that they befriended a mod...hmm...I wonder which is more annoying...

Hihi, I'm just putting out this for any spriters who maybe would like to help fulfill some requests from BBS users. I started this thread a while ago where I would take requests from people and turn them into sprites, but due to the fact that college's starting up and I'm a lazy SOB, I stopped taking new requests. If there's anyone who would wish to show their stuff on this thread , it would be awesome! I believe I stopped taking requests after my announcement on page 11, and so that would be a great place to start-thanks so much! :)

Ok, I'm just going to post this once more just so people don't get the wrong idea I am not taking any more new requests . I originally posted this on page 11 I believe, and if you posted your request after my announcement, then its up to some other spriter to take care of it. Maybe I'll get back to these requests eventually, but I'm sure people can understand how busy this time of the year gets when you're moving into college. Thanks!
