Refering to terrorists, Bush has repeated this phrase again and again and again since 9-11...
I'm truely interested to hear what ppl think he means by Hating Freedom?

yes, good examples! ..but you forgot Afganistan -those darn mountain caves- and hiroshima/nagasaki -those darn historical port cities-
do you think i should do a check how they dealt with those darn Apache Indians?
ô_ô
actually, it hardly scrathes the surface.. what about divorces and re-marriages..?
1 woman i know had 3 children, 1 each with 3 different men. Now had she married each one, do you think that each child should have a different family name despite as it happens, growing up as 1 family?
my parents had 5 kids, and now have 6 grandkids. 2 of their 5 children have changed their family name by depol, i'm also planning to do the same, and when i married a foreigner it starts to make a mess of my plans kos she assumed my familiy name by default, so at least naming our daughter we were legally was allowed to give her whatever we felt suited, but in my wifes country (where they live now) they forced my daughter to use my family name by law ..which exasperates things.
my point is, my fathers family name continues despite many efforts to break away from this traditiion, but about 12 family lines are still not represented. The only solution i could come up with is to give my daughter a 4 character middle name which is made up from the 4 initials of each grandparetns family. Now, if this was proceedure, then more families would feel adequately represented and therefore remembered..
"there's gotta be a better way" -anon.
US Military has a long history, when it can't find the enemy, they start blowing apart everything that constitues as "shelter" ..same as Israel.

dude, what time-slip of a planet are you living on?
any woman has her fathers family name, so how is it less masculine than any other family name?
remember, for every newborn kid there are four grandparents family lines which need representation.. freedom of choice is also important, so there's a lot to consider.
Washington Sniper = Terrorist
hmm, this removes the traditional tie-in of seeking a political agenda.
it's simply amazing how Bush can link his stentances..
Frost "what about War Protestesters?"
BUSH "I think it's great we live in countries with freedom of speech"
Frost "what about voter polls against the war?"
BUSH "Polls? I don't listen to polls"
..oh, the irony.

not closure -- fuller explanation.
While the security services have had their internal reviews, and classified everything pertaining to 9-11 as national security, we are still being told that the event is set to reverberate for upto 50 years, and while Bush keeps linking Iraq to 9-11 and therefore Iraq now being the frontline of the WOT, a place where we are told that the Mujahideen are gathring because "they got their asses whipped in Afgahnistan" ..then rational non-political types say "whoa! ..now exactly how much fallout and death of foreigners in their own lands far from the US and 9-11 attack on America soil are we expected to keep swallowing as a justified response?"
I'm sorry to surprise everyone with this; but i get just as IRATE when innocent non-Americans die as a result of excessive American foreign policy, as i do for all the innocent Americans who have died. Actually more so kos the US should behave better than common terrorists seeking vengance. And unlike the media i don't count 20 Arab lives as being equal to 1 American life.
Next they'll be broadcasting re-runs of Dallas with shit-loads of fast-food ads. They'll make Sept 11th an Iraqi Anti-Saddam holiday, when kids will get a free coke to dob in their parents for even uttering his name. Then all vehicles except American made SUVs will be banned from city streets to help the US troops mingle with other traffic. American Culture will become curriculum in all schools, and baseball will be made the national sport...
Actually, using Saddams palaces for US troop barracks is bloody insensitive too.

Thank you. Why risk exposure with a fake plane when a real one would work just as fine? This is a question without any real answer from the theorists.
*takes two steps backwards*
Conspiracy Theories are the exact opposite of a Sherlock Holmes logician who says "when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth"
Conspiracy Theorists on the other hand say "when you eliminate the improbable, whatever remains, however impossible, must be the truth"
Conspiracy events tend to be a more thorough science, with perfect planning, but imperfect execution, or at the very least, insufficient provable evidence. The Theorist therefore (needing to optimize their search among a wide array of alternative improbables) ignore the obvious scenario as presented, and work their way backwards from the apparent lack of evidence, to find anything that even remotely matches what happened, in order to find the decisive missing factor.
Only then offering a complete or competent theory that will stand up to popular ridicule.
As with the Moon Landings, i'm not interested in the "waving flag" arguments, or the "rock shadows and missing crosshairs" arguments which were used as filler on a time-wasting doco.
Essential physics will tell you that landing on the moon is HEAPS harder than the Moon Lander games we played in th 1980s, much harder than we are led to believe just because it's 1-5th gravity, and from that premise alone (and prolly a lot of math) hope to find the technological flaw. But usual Theorists say "if we didn't land on the Moon, how did they fake it?" ..then they point to Area 51.
Deaths of key participants might point to a coverup, but unless you can chain-link such evidence to management or authority figures, then it's still only a murder investigation.
The Pentagon Crash is the same. We have to look at the evidence released, eliminate the obvious (a hijacked flight77) and come up with whatever scenario fits with an object hitting the Pentagon without apparent countermeasures, leaving less than the expected damage. So, even if a plane is the obvious anwser, it still doesn't explain the lack of presumed militarty defence protocol. I haven't been to Washington, but photo's show that the Pentagon isn't too far from the WhiteHouse.. what if the target had been different? What was the likely discussion behind military radar screens? "Oh look, yet another hijacked plane heading our way, maybe we should wait to see if it lands.."
"there is no spoon"
i haven't even come close to talking about the crash, and how it happened yet.. like JMHX said, this thread exists and is fair game for discussion. Lock it if you feel it breaches some moral standard, but don't go blaming me for being in the conspiratist camp (..yes i've posted in the fake Moon landing threads too, so i guess i'm calling ALL Americans gullible, right!?)
JMHX started this thread (apparently not in jest) so you should start with him, kos he knows you better, i hardly know who's who besides DAG members, like where everyone lives, or what they saw or didn't see. You've posted about what your friends saw and that's just more to add to the heap of stuff we see around the net as far as i'm concerned.
Or should i take it as gospel, coming from an irate NG mod?

now Shrike, that's too political for this thread. Maybe it's because we are smothered with American media; i have 4 channels to choose from -- 3 use all-nite American Home Shopping channels (..need i say more?)
ok, "let's get ready to rumble" (..another Americanism..)
where's that fake fight manager Don King when you need a quick million WWF style?
it's not like we've waited two years just to even broach what is (obviously) a very sensitive topic.. </sarcasm>
Shrike, your points are no more valid than the one's i've seen listed and linked to here. Plz don't take it personal.

well, we're not talking a small toy missile are we? We're talking about big fat thing with wings, just not as big as the tin-can theory Shrike would have us believe.
One accurate enough to fly thru a particular Pentagon window.. or was ploughing thru 8 lamp posts and and still hitting the ground floor evidence of "good landing technique" from a suicidal pilot?
Obviously much better trained than the pilot who nearly missed the second WTC tower, which was also a helluva big target!
no, to hit the reinforced Pentagon with a 757 and leave almost the entire wall intact and adjacent windows unbroken just beggers a lot more convincing imho.
-Yes, we're used to seeing great chunks of plane debris, as was seen blasting away from the impact point.
-The black box was given to FBI who refuse to release it to lawyers representing 9-11 victim's families.
-The cam view is thought to be missing some "censored" frames of the actual impact.
-How did the transponder get switched off? And why didn't jets get scrambled to intercept the missing plane? (Pentagon radar is the best in the world right down to sea level)
there is a lot of evidence which could be released to settle these theories and questions without breaching US national security.

which is why the missile hit the only reinforced section of the Pentagon (a week before completion)
which is why they had a "plane hits Pentagon" fire drill a year earlier.
which explains how fighter jets were not sent to intercept the approach of a jet given the 1 hour warning (ie. loss of plane transponder, not radar!?!)

go to Google and type "Pentagon crash" ..it's all right there, but no mention in mainstream media coverage, other than a few books or the very numerous internet sites.
"A book which argues that American Airlines flight 77 did not crash into the Pentagon on 11 September has become an immediate bestseller in France. Reports say the book's original run of 20,000 copies sold out within two hours of going on sale." --BBC News website.
