i use flash 8, flash never chrashes, but it does go pretty slow, hwever on some other computer, its really fast... i think its more your computer...
are you using vista? that slows a lot already... is your ram memory less than 2 gb? will get slower...
less than 512mb? that's not any good then...
mine's is 1 gb, and flash plays something that 30 fps at a 15 fps rate... i always have to upload it somewhere, then close flash, then test it... :(

I agree with mr. ramdomist that there is not much you can add to the littlespaceship game, but staying with the same code, animate a person running forwards, and animate enemies... then, you could totally make a huge game, like ive already saw some game like yours, but never a 3d platformer... sure it would be hard, but it would be awesome!

-Second batch of enemies (same enemies, diferent arranging, harder, faster, better, maybe stronger XD, not so awesome reference)
-Change the points required to win

PS: where there is a block that is dieferent from all others, when you go to the right, there is an invisible line that makes the magnet impossible :D (so go left if you wanna win)

im not the collab organizer... so i wont say much
but kebabh... a maze game must (well, you can see it was made from a tut if it doesnt have this code) have a code so that if you click (in the white on your case) you will lose, because without such code, you just click, and drag, and then you win... o.O

Allright, about my game,
pahgawk did the art for some more traps... and im coding them, but how can i make it so the person doesnt notice the loop? Aha! see: all the enemies are grouped in one movieclip, and inside, tween 16 holds all these movie clips..., but, when tween 16 ends... i could put more enemies, but this time, arranged arround in a diferent manner! that way, it will be longer, and harder, and people wont notice the loop! cool, it will just take a while cuz im kinda lazy... XD, but it will be done soon...

If you are running Windows (which I assume you are) you can go into the Task Manager, click on PRocesses, right-click on Flash (when it's running) and set the priority to higher than it currently is.

nah, i got how to do it, see: flash has a limit of 6000 pixels ( 3000 upward, and 3000 negative (downwards) in relation to movieclips... (i think, at least is what happens on my flash... (how do i do to not show that pixel ruler? sometimes that is anoying...)

Now i only got to double the size... (so to make it bigger, that would mean a total redesigning, of my game... but double the size is already long enough right?)

pahgawk, can you do a shooter like the one you already done, but with a blue ray, (instead of fireballs), and with a fire thingy on its bottom (so it can float by itself, and so i can motion tween it arround the stage... making it harder...)... thanks!

-I said about the 600 points explaining how it works..., it works, theres nothing to fix...
-Abou the bg's, can i use the same? And on the you win frame, its kinda weird to use the same if i should use the same, so how should i do it?

-do you have segoe script? ( font ) if no, thats the problem... Say a nice default font that is nice and ill try it out...( the other stuff os static so there no problem, but the points are not static ( dont remenber name now... )
-(more ideas for enemies)Red rays thingyes that activate a trap that makes it impossible to go through?
So i guess now i have to add the bg, and make these other traps... ?

OMG! i thought air runner and bike were the best by just looking at what everyone had done so far, but just from that screenshot i can see that cube will pwn!

sure..., i was going to add traps, and other stuff anyways...,
i also got pahgawk to do some art for me
i guess we got a game made by three people then, but that is not a problem for me...
Ill soon send you the game once i add all the art that pahgawk made... (ill send by pm), but really right now is just code some traps, and maybe powerups, or enemies, but its not really supposed to have enemies like a spaceshooter, it should be like a copter game with traps. But now, why dont you code like a "magnet" trap, so when you were close to invisible lines arround the magnet, you would be attracted to it, or just code another trap. (the instace name of the ship is spaceship(just so you know while u code)

Well, (to logitude), you need to create your own function, in which you will use attachMovieClip(); ( i think is that how you write it...) and
_x -= 5
( you cam change the - to + as you need and 5 as well...)
If you dont really understand much actionscript, search for spaceshooter tuts arround the web, spaceshooters always have bullets...

Here is my game, i just wanted an artist to do some better walls, and some traps, and a BG, but ill probably end up doing that myself. (nothing too hard, is just that i dont have that much time to work on this, but i guess taking a bit longer has no problem, as you said "dont rush")

Now, the code is all done, is just add traps, and new sets of walls (so it wont loop forever) going at a higher speed (youll notice the game is too easy right now...) increasing the difficulty.

alright, i am working in a minigame right now, and i would like to be part of the collab, in case you dont want it, no problem, im still probably going to post it alone (in case it isnt accepted)
I could have a demo by saturday, and maybe it done by sunday...
I am making something like the "copter game"(search on google)(with better graphics), but having you go upwards, and use arrow keys, also with the time, the speed of everything raises, making the game difficult (it wont go forever like the copter game, tough i could do that if you want...)
Also, could someone do some art for me? (PM me)

Argentin, if no one ever chooses to code your game, i could do it, but im not sure what you are really aiming for so im not sure if i could do it anyways(PM me ;D)
