You summed up what I was going to say. People in my area(Philadelphia Suburb) have their own neighborhoods in Bristol Township, Pennsylvania such as:

Bloomsdale-Fleetwing Neighborhood(predominately African-American)
Venice Ashby(Hispanics & Blacks)

There are a lot of Polish-only, Jewish-only and a neighborhood for Homosexuals/Transgenders in Downtown Philadelphia which is probably the same case for most major cities.

Yeah a lot of them are pretty stuck up. I am friends with a couple of transgenders who are the most awesome people I have ever encountered. The ones I know enjoy their life to the fullest and don't care what others have to say. That takes a lot of courage for someone like them to come out and just say 'Fuck you' to society(the ones that are against it).

I myself would never have courage to show that much pride in any aspect of life. Because I myself am the type of person who sort of cares about how other perceive me. I know I try to shake that flaw off me but no matter how much I say I don't care, it's still there.
