Response to: The Freeze Time Collab Posted July 6th, 2006 in Game Development

Response to: Flashes Fault? Posted July 6th, 2006 in Game Development

i have 512 mb ram.... and I have has flash mx and flash 8, my computer has never run slowly just because of flash... if its running very very slowly... close down other programs that could be running... that should do it

Response to: Sould I continue... Posted July 6th, 2006 in Game Development

there are two answers to this!

you shoudl continue creating it for the experience...

but if you only want to get a movie that doesnt get blammed... do not continue creating it

unless you make it into a masterpiece... odds are its gonna get blammed or a extremely low score

Response to: Cool flash in 30 days? Posted July 1st, 2006 in Game Development

once you get a little flash skill and experience, it is possible to create a kick ass movie in 3 hours :)

I have a movie on newgrounds scoring over 3 and I made it, in literaly 3 hours

so with 30 days.... of hard work, its possible to get a daily award... probably

Response to: What's your Newgrounds goal? Posted July 1st, 2006 in Game Development

I actually really set goals for myself when I started animating....

1) get a movie on newgrounds -- complete

2) get a movie above 3.00 -- complete

3) make it into a NewGrounds TimeTrials -- (never gonna happen, so far the new season has been delayed... TWICE (oh well) ) incomplete

4)become well known -- (getting there) incomplete

5)Get front page. -- (I have a movie thats good enough complete, All i need are some good connections :) ) Incomplete for a couple weeks

6) get a movie above 4.00 -- incomplete

7) get a newgrounds award (ehhh... I kinda do, not exactly) incomplete-ish

I've got a long way to go.... :P

wtf???

chu chu rocket and street fighter!

that is something I never thought would go together.

Response to: Using Multiple scenes, how? Posted June 26th, 2006 in Game Development

just for information, When animating scene DO NOT HELP. if you have multiple scene, the sounds gets thrown off, and even sometimes animation times. That is just from my experience :)

Response to: Corrupt Flash Project Posted June 26th, 2006 in Game Development

lucky you.... I got the same problem on one of my movies for a collab... but I was never able to fix it, Im still waiting for a flash 8 swf converter with blur in it!

one day...

the next internet hit, kepp reading.

keeps me from not reading

Response to: Windows Gold Posted June 26th, 2006 in Game Development

god.. while are you still making this!

Obviously your not to experienced with flash, and once you get passed the "setup" parts of your windows simulation your actually going to need to start coding stuff. If you dont, it will turn into a great piece of filth. Already the intro is worse then almost 75% of windows simulations I have seen, your color sceme is pathetic, and there nothing that looks interesting or appealing about it! If I want to use windows, I'll just close this window and use windows. I dont need a rip off windows flash program to use WINDOWS.

In less words. STOP MAKING IT, IT WILL EVENTUALLY SUCK AND WASTE YOUR TIME.
(I know from experience 8D )

been waiting for another one, by the way, what ever happened to the last one. I made like a minute movie then it was declared dead. ANYWAYS i can't wait til the next one, cause i think im finally talented enough to make it in.

Response to: Whats the secret to a great flash? Posted May 11th, 2006 in Game Development

like i said... practice....

If you want, I can show you some early movies I made, and you can compare it to my newest movies. EVERYONE starts bad, but with more practice you get much better. Your not going to be an ex-disney animator over night
