well there will be a theme, but the contest will be very open ended. And even though teknogames is the most experienced it doesnt mean hes going to win. (but still cahnces are high) lol.

basically, but when you win you just go on to the next round... until you win and become the newgrounds flash battle champion

its a 1 vs 1 battle to make the best movie. Each person get 2-3 days depending on the specific rules and then who ever gets the best movie rated by the vewiers and myslef will go to the next round while the losers just get eliminated, but if we have a odd numberof people in the next round i will make a wild card thing. Thats were the loesers will compete to get the left open position in the next round.

OK well we have enough people now im going to let people join for a little while longer. Now we have 6 people doing it,and 1 maybe. Probably tommarow i'll announce whos in it.

well i just found out that the name New Grounds Battle Grounds has been used before so im now changing the name to New Grounds Flash Battle (NGFB). WE STILL NEED ATLEAST 1 MORE PERSON SO WHO EVER WANTS TO JOIN POST IT!!!

also let me re-explain some of the rules.

It will be a 1 vs 1 battle.... single elimination
each contestant will make a flash movie in 2-3 days
There will be 1 very very small special rule for each round that the artist have to follow.
you cannot use the same movie twice.

I wouldnt start now on your movie now becuase i might just add in some special rules(hint hint) for each movie

You can create a movie about anything
there will be a deadline
i will look at the reviews and use my own decision to tell which one is the best
only 2 people will make a movie at a time
probably every 2-3 days

Here it is. A new league this is going to be a 1 vs 1 type style single elimination. So if you win you go onto the next level if you lose... oh well. If anyones interested just post a reply if enough people want to do it. I dont care what talent you have or what type of movie you do but there needs to be atleast 6 people in the league then I cant start this thing. After i get everyone who will be in it we can start the battle!

right now it seems that all the contests like ngtt seasons have ended.... is there any going on right?....

I like stick movies.. in fact i make stick movies... but unless you are amazing at sticks... its hard to make a "good" stick movie... i mean... stick movies are noobish, i can admit that. But there are good stick animators like the person who made de_dust or de_aztec. Blackmaze is definately not a noob at sticks but most people are. check out all the movies that will definetely get a .20 or below. They're all stick movies, most people can predict a stick movie to be noobish. Thats why stick are so hard if you actually get a movie to stay on ng that is a stick you are damn lucky. I should no. Took my like 15 stick movies til i finally got enough expierience to make a good one.

Alright... heres the deal. I have a fairly unoriginal idea. If you have ever performed in the NG time trials, u'll already know what this is. Since the NGTT season is over I am making my own.

NG Speed Challenge:
challenge:
-make a flash movie about winter. thats it, this one is probably the most open ended and easy one there will be

dead line:
september 18th, 2004

rules:
-24 fps
-300x300 movie size
-create your movie within a movie clip centered on the main timeline
-name your symbols
-break your fonts into fills *VERY IMPORTANT*
-Use streaming sounds only
-Name your movie your ng screename.

this is an easy one.
the best animations that I recieve will be in the NGSC

haha.... im flattered. my comment was the shortest. lol... but yea I was cut short. i was going to polish it up, you know make the line moving. everything that would make it better including finishing the story. But it was a tough week. school jsut started and I had a lot of work so maybe next time
