No, since religion and State should remain seperated, and since all the Anti-Castro thing didn't do anything, things are not going better, or worse.

Let's be reminded of every act America's intended on doing to make a better future. What happened to catholics when the Whitman's and protestants discovered their alternate inaliable creed? So forth when the natives where thought to have been led in the "proper" direction to protestants. Most of their land is now gone and even the staff controlled by many whites are being corrupted in a very slow fashion.

corruption is indeed the most dangerous thing for freedom, because when you can just buy your way out of everything, and I totally agree that what has been done to the natives of North America is unacceptable.

The rights americans have today are constantly being overused, misconsumed, and taken an advantage of.

Which can be associated with corruption, if one can buy his presidency there's no democraty, and if its not democraty it looks like dictatorship to me.

In fact, back when the constitution was still in process, many of america's men were very consistant and had various actions contributed to every individual.

they wanted to have a better place to live since the Brits can be so evil. (on a historical point of view)

Technology today is making alot of Americans lazy. The only smarts today are used in science and technology.

this has always occur, where do you want clever people to be ? politics should be reserved to average citizens, and we can take anyone to work in a factory. Technology does not make people
lazy, wealth does, and with wealth comes technology, so its more or less a symptom.

We are losing our literate capabilities(not very important) and theAmeric'a society is remaining in a fickle route.

this is bad and true

Isreal and France are probably their only hope.

Israel depends on the US and France just doesn't give a crap about it, frankly there proud that they didn't go to Irak, France doesn't like the US

America is spoiled and given too much rights without working for it.

The problem with rights is not the number, its that over a few generations, people take them for granted (which they are in the US).

I don't care if America destroys itself but its investments are too invloved in other countries and they get in the way, so if they go down, Isreal is vunurable and trade markets will probably all go to Asia, and that would be wierd.

The US is only implicated in other country for resourses and strategic points, if all of these are given back to their rightfull owners all around the globe I don't see where the problem is ( oh no ! less implication in the Middle East!) Isreal would get into trouble, but I'm pretty shure they can manage themselves, all they have to do is to be even more carefull, by which I mean invading everyone that looks at them with mean eyes.

I may not have a very important on this, but please, someone let me know what the hell America was thinking to give out rights without thinking of the consequences.

they most likely thought that the next generations would be more happy and free to decide what they wanted for their families. they thought the consequences would be only good. they never thought that the no 1 democraty would turn out to be a really big dictatorship that would spread like the British Empire with even less concern to everyone but itself.

Response to: Talent = stupid Posted April 4th, 2008 in Politics

There is a theory that says that the braine is «seperated» in four areas

- creativity (art)
- logic ( rationality)
-organization (rationality)
-emotions (art)

then, the theory says that each person has two of these areas that are more used than the others,
one can have a part of rationality and a part of art, it is different from persone to persone
it seems that you two parts turn around art and not rationality.

The environment might have helped you with your talent as it is another theory.

Response to: Politics & Only Using Oil 4 Energy Posted April 3rd, 2008 in Politics

The question is mostly politics

The largest Olygopoly in the world is the Oil Industry
( Oligopoly is basically a Monopoly created by many companies that act like one)

Since money rules the world, and since they have money, they can buy the governement ( of any country you may live in). If they buy the governement they can slow down researches on new sources of Energy.

So the only thing we can do is, well nothing really, wait until there's no Oil left ?

Response to: Question for Athiests Posted April 3rd, 2008 in Politics

you see, all religion turns around what the christians call the «ten commandments» stuff like don't kill, don't rape and don't rob.

Since we Occidentals have a code of Laws that ( suprisignly ) says pretty much the same thing. so if you get COUGHT ( which is the only difference) you are going to prison, and never be able to travel again, have a crappy job and live like some society reject for the rest of your life. Or not, you could also live in Texas and just get zapped, in which case its bad since we have no idea whats after life.

So even if someone doesn't beleive in a superior being, there will be consequences. even if its only in your concsienece.

That's right.
Riiiiite...aahhh silly me.Maybe because I WATCH NEWS?and live in a real world where human act 100x worse than animal.

I find funny that you always refer to the «news» because if someone bases his opinions on news, he is likely to think that Muslims are violent, why ? because in those news, all we see about Musilms is that they blow themselves in croudy areas !

So, for the sake of everyones intelligence, stop mentioning the news.
