Same, everyone is either on holiday, at work, or lives too far away. I went to school in a different town, so I don't know that many people in my hometown. On the plus side, I now have a hell of a lot of free time, but am running out of things to do in it. I was going to build a guitar over summer to fill the time, but ran out of money. There are no jobs here either, so I can't even fill the time with that. Summer is a double edged sword.

This one time last summer, I was home alone because my older brothers had gone out, my sister was working and its was my parent's anniversary, I was just lounging about the house, when I suddenly heard a noise coming from the speakers! It was so bizarre, it sounded like a guitar, drums, bass and vocals! I was really spooked, so I went upstairs to hide. It was pitch black, so i turned the lights on and immediatley saw a bright light! The ghost was staying perfectly still, hanging from the ceiling. I ran back downstairs and saw a strange man floating INSIDE THE TV! I nearly passed out because of how scared I was. He then started speaking in some weid ghost language that I couldn't understand, but it sounded like a "Tonights eleven o'clock news...". I couldn't make out much else as it was really quiet.

The Cure are from my hometown, went to the same school as me and are friends with my dad.

The Feeling are also from my hometown and also went to my school and my brother knew them.

They're not great, but other than that, the musical talent around here kinda sucks. We have a load of shitty metalcore bands because every emo kid with a guitar here thinks he's a genius, and there's a fuck of a lot of them.
