Yeah *Scoff* What hasn't been dumbed down?

At one point in time people really loved and respected complex music. Classical music, jazz and even blues and blue grass had so much more depth than many current forms.

We are evolving into fucking sloths. That shit's too hard and takes too much time
Computers are starting to change that. I mean, I think about it this way...Think about how complex a song could really be if someone were to master everything there was to know about a music program like Reason or Logic Pro 7 (I think that's what it's called) All these new instruments right in front of us at our dissposal. It isn't as hard (as far as my perseption of things go) to make something sound really complex on the computer than it is to do it with a Violin and all this other orchestra stuff. Add some reverb...Compress it a little bit...add some more plug-ins.. Know what I mean? Think of how much potential we all have to mastering what we are doing.. Knowing the ins and outs of absolutly everything there was to know about sound manipulation.

It speaks alot to me about general problems in society in general, people don't ppreciate complex ideas. Alot of people don't to want to think for themselves.

True.

I just put my newest song in industrial and I voted 5 on it (meh). I suppose it's been voted 0 a couple times. I havn't had a problem with anything like that before. I have a high batting average on my other songs but that's just becasue not too many people have voted on it...

A room with a red light on? Don't know what that means, haha...at all. I'm gonna find that out..I'll chek out you and those other artists out...Mwahahaha.
....What genre would you consider my music? I still don't really know...bastards keep talking:

BLAH BLAH BLAH WROTE BLAH BLAH BLAH at "The end of time" P.M.
Hahaha you sound just like me erkie - except replace underdog and industrial with something like "god (j/k) or observer", and "vg".. hehehe..

I usu give new ppl in my genre that line in reviews.
I could never think of anything better then following in Chronamut and Rucklo's footsteps.

Wait, yes I could.
no you can't . Dont lie erkie.

You cant do that other option anyways - at least, not in PUBLIC...
Actually, I admit I can't wait to cross over the threshold you guys developed, but it won't sound like your guy's stuff.
Hey thats ok - just keep on trucking and you'll get there! The elysian fields...
No, I mean, I'm probably already there, but it doesn't sound the same.
BLAH FUCKING BLAH FUCKING GOD DAMN BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does any of that bullshit have to do with anything? I'm about to metaphorically beat the shit out you bastards.

Damn you guys...You chit chatting on the side having no relevence to the topic is...very annoying to say the least... goto a chat room or something. It's really irritating to have to scroll all over the place to get a relevent reply.

Alot of people don't know the difference between specific genres. More people would post them int he wrong spot and ALL HELL WOULD BREAK LOOSE!

Kingdom Phylum Class Order Family Genus Species

Yes, people do tend to blend in. But it may not be so much that they have no identity. Just, maybe their identity relates to anothers in some ways due to an idea that everyone affects everybody. SOmeone has a great idea, be it music or otherwise, acts upon it, and people like it. That spawns more ideas and more and more, until that idea is played out. Now, that whole era is binded into the minds of the kids that grew up with it and are untentionally (uncounsiously, whatever) influenced by those ideas. Think about what is happeneing in these years right now. What did these teenagers in high school grow up on? Well, Video Games for one. Computers...plenty other things. Now think about those 2 things I mentioned. Now think about what they have brought to music.....awesome. We now have the possibility of making awesomely great music without having to master an instrument or even leave our house. It's all solo work. We are not bound by what people we know or who has the hook ups for a record press or live gigs to get our music heard. NO! We jsut sit our little asses down, squeeze out a number, and send it to some website where people can listen to it...

Ok....Now, look at what first came up out of this....Techno I believe is one...I, for one, can't stand techno, at least, not what I hear on the radio or anywhere else where people thrive....It's too fucking boring.

Now look what the youth has to offer. Look around Newgrounds.... It is very rare that you will find some shit you would hear on the radio on the top fo the portal somewhere.

We are the new minds of the generation people....Our time is comming.
This underground music scene will boil over sooner or later...It has to..Because it is too great of a thing to keep unknown forever.

*looses train of thought*

I have the same problem. I click on the headphones and it starts to load the song....then the Stop button comes up and no audio....I have to hit stop adn play a few times before the song starts. Sometimes the buttons don't even come up. I have cable internet. Both here and at my other house....Same problem a both.
And I'm not too sure about

It could also be that at certain times there are mass amount of people dling audio, and lots of users generaly on the site...

I'm pretty sure that's not what I am having problems with...I don't know how busy Newgrounds is at 1-3 in the mourning PST...But I'm pretty sure it's not as much as in the afternoon....When people are usualy awake.

My friend had the same problem. a few months later he bought a new sound card, came back to Fruity Loops and the problem wasn't there...There's a chance it could be your sound card. Not sure.

You could always goto the Support page on the Fruity Loops website...It seems to be a common problem, they probably have a little info.

So who's the best heavy metal composer here?

I don't know of any good heavy metal composers by name. I remember comming acroos this really really great song in the Goth Genre...It sounded like Heavy Metal to me..Man it wa awesome. Sucks I don't remember it.

As far as composers go.. Monkeybullman, JPhoenix84, Helix6, chainsaw_09, crud, shindenjin, Rubbertje, and TVs_Slayer are a few I listen to alot. They all are very talented. The audio portal is full of very talented people. This is a fraction.

Pokemon_Lover7's ~Grounded~ is worth a listen too...I think that song's awesome. Another by that guy is Ramblin Fool...It's hilarious.

The Blue Album is my favorite..

"Undone" and "El Scortcho" are my favorite songs. I don't care much for the some-odd-# songs i've heard off the newest album. "Beverly Hills" is all right. It's catchy.

There's that website and you could also just search google for file hosting or something.
