Anyone know of anything that simply changes the Kbps of an MP3?
I have a few questions about Fruity Loops:
What is/are VSTi?
What does it stand for?
What am I missing out on by not using Fruity Loops with Reason Wired to it?
How would I go abouts doing this?

I thought Fruity Loops was like... $50.

That's fucking awesome....How'd that happen?
I'm really interested in what will become of music in the next few years. Bands like Gorillaz, Kasabian, Beck, and Mindless Self Indulgence (prime example) all have that electronic approach. I can't wait. It's going to be very, very awesome. A new genre is going to explode...I can feel it.
Just another trend that will consume itself. It will be manufactured and sold to us for twice the price. Grunge, Emo, Hip-hop lifestyle....It cannot be avoided. Pessimistic? I think not.
Infallible
Indeed, the world is cynical.
Remind me to go buy some spinners for my car, they're cheap now. Stores have competition, you know...
Hey guys...check this song out that I found.
BTW, I didn't make it, I just think ti's hilarious. Thought I'd share.

You guys think that maybe some people are comming into this forum, reading the bad reviews, and reviewing your songs terrible just to see it posted on here and watch you guys discuss it?
That may be the case for some of the recent inane reviews. Especially those crazy ones directed towards Extracy. From the looks of it, those people that reviewed seem to be doing it for attention. I've never seen reviews like that.
True. It is still using someones work without their consent. It is possible to get in some trouble, if the copyright holder wants to be a punk about it.
You know what Rock music is right? har har...Well, ever integrated that style into one of your electronic songs? I'm talking about bad ass drums that blend great with some mean ass fast trancy solos busting all over! Something like Classical rock but eith electronic instruments..make sense? I think it sounds COOL AS HELL.
Well, I need something like that for some stuff I am doing in school...I want to hear what you got. And if you think it's really good...I'll probably like it too.

If you don't know what I'm looking for, re-read those first few sentences until they sink into your brain. I'm not exactly looking for anyhting with lyrics...but I'll still listen to it ;P
I think it's rather neat that I was born in 1986. When I was little I was given a NES, Then SNES and Nintendo 64 as a teenager. As I got Older the games got more complicated. Alot of people were raised up like this... Just chill and play video games as a little kid. That's all I fucking did!
Think about all of those little melodies and such in those video games. That must have had some impact on alot of us. It shows in alot of the music you listen to from people around the age of 20. Old video game music was the shit..I mean, it was so damn original! The original Super Mario Theme is still awesome as hell to listen to.
I don't know where I was going with this...But...It had to o've made an influence on me some how.
That and Nirvana...Nirvana is always great.
When you are making a song..Do you intentionally think about the music you listen to and build off of it? I personally believe that most of us do this unintentionally. Just as our past experiences sort of develop who we are....What do you guys think?
Shoot out an ad in the Audio Advertisements when you get vocals set up..I'd like a listen.
Someone told me that Gorillaz use Fruity Loops...ANyone know about that?

There's a program called Buzz you may want to check out. It is free along with the generators and stuff...It's a really awesome program. People send in some good plug-ins for it..There's tons.

Since you double post, i'm double posting my review here. Maybe give up on music and try something new. This is not very enjoyable to listen to. I gave some of your other songs a shot too, and doesn't sound like you have the gift. I'm pretty sure that musicians like cronamut, paragonx, and zerobass (the leaders of this portal) have never achieved platinum hits in one week either. Probably not even in a year could they do that. That's just sheer comedy that you are downloading your own music that many times... hehe.

Kinda like a rest or something? But rests are still a "note"...so I don't know. Can you give an example?
What's always boggled me is how we group the time signitures into 4/4. I never really notice different time signitures because of this.
Also....What does the last number represent? I just realized I don't know. hah..What sort of musician am I?! I was taught..but I forgot.

Anybody have any more specific examples of rare time signitures? Something that hasn't been brought up yet? No Beatles, no Metallica

also check out the entire "retardcore" genre... its... retarted.. everyhting sounds good after u listen to some of it......
I thought you were kidding until I saw
this (WTF?)
Poocore? Vaginacore movement? What the hell are they talking about? BTW.... That link is a review of a band titled "Dick Delicious and the Tasty Testicles"..ahaha oh man.. I already believe you...I gotta hear this...
At 5/28/05 03:48 PM, Agent_Manatee wrote: Hearing different rythms is like trying different type of food: you just need to experience it and get used to it. Not all rythms in 4/4 are straight too; for example, 1--4--7- is a classic syncopation of 4/4 that sounds a bit off beat, siilar to 1--3--7-9- in 10/8 (Mission Impossible theme song).
Just listen to stuff, and you'll find that most if it actually breaks into small more consonat rhythms; 7/8 is usually 3/8 followed by 2/4 or vice versa, 6/8 sounds like 2/4 but in triplets, ect.
There is some really weired shit out there if you look for it though.
Totally true. I never really thought about it until I.....thought about it..hah.
And yeah there is alot of weird shit out there.......Dick Delicious and the tasty testicles...augh man... BUY THERE NEW ALBUM "We Sold Our Souls For Wet Sloppy Holes"
Hilarious...Hilarious....

mainly because most of the people cant give constructive reviews (most not all) and half of them dont know what they are talking about anyways.
(plus im sick as fuckin hell of zero voting)
i MIGHT still upload some new songs, but i doubt many people care if i do anyways lol.
Hey man, I care if you don't upload your songs. Your music's pretty kick ass.
It kinda sucks that you care so much about reviews and votes to have it keep you from submitting new material...How come? Because you're sick of it? Just ignore it dude. That shit means nothing...You say most people can't give constructive reviews..What about the ones that do? What's up? Why care so much about reviews?
I never got why so many people let this zero voting thing bother them so much. I mean, yeah it's stupid, yes people should be a little more open minded. This place is a pool full of little teenies. That should be slightly expected. But everyone is going to do what they're going to do. You can't really get away from it anywhere. There seems to always be some asshole wherever you are. The best thing to do is don't associate yourself with it. Don't associate yourself with your rating. I doesn't mean shit. It's a false grade. It's there just to distract you. Seriously. I mean, yeah it's kinda cool to see a nice rating or praise. But it's only in our mind. Think for yourself.
If EVERYONE reviewed your music saying "BAHH THIS FUCKING SUCSK NOT MY TYPE OF MUSIC AND I HAVE NO EXPLANATION ARG GO AWAY!!" Would that influence your decision to submit new material? I mean, it sounds like you are going to stop submitting new stuff because it's not liked by more people or something (?). I've read you saying, Pandora, that you think your music sounds good. Critisism is hard to detach yourself from. We take it too personally.
Create music for yourself, man. If you really think that your music is good. That is all that matters. If other people like it....That's just icing on the cake.
I mean, do whatever. But I really hope that you never stop making music. I know you hate having your age brought into this (haha) but you are fairly young (jsut about all of us on here are). We all have years and years and years to learn and become better. You pop out a song like, every day jsut about...Think about how much better that song could be with say, better software, more time involved...More practice. =)
Just something to take into consideration....but what do I know?

Personally I favor the original more. Once I hear the original of something I have this fixed idea of the song. That goes with just about anything.

New Wave is applied indiscriminately to punkish sounding music that doesn't really embrace the loud-fast ethos... =)
Ok I admit..I pulled that out of my ass.
Heres a link about New Wave that I found because I wanted to find out too. Wikipedia is pretty damn cool!
Heres some readingabout SKA music
I also found what I was looking for about Industrial music

If you were to start on it right now and not stop until the SWF file were updated with a few new loops...How long would it take?
I don't know anything about flash, I'm curious how long things like this take to make in flash.

That's not really true. Reason was easy for me to learn. I I never really understood Fruity Loops at all on my own.
Here are some video tutorials that are very helpful.

Indeed I can. I made a song of it on an old tape recorder. What a great tape recorder t'was.
When creating free blam points...Diverse fart noises always distract the voter.
There are still a couple here and there I've seen. Most are rated .53 and really crappy ratings like that..
The Audio Portal seems to attract artists more than anything.
Making fart noises sounds like something I'd do.
You should play SNES in those little kid picnic chairs...that would really enhance your nostalgia. Not only that but if they are the picnic chairs im thinking of, they have slits in the seat so you know...water and stuff doesn't sit there...so if you got the squirts really bad you could just crap right there and let it seep through. The vicodin would sooth the smell, im sure.
I ran into a wall once on that shit....Just kidding.
I would guess that it's not comming up anytime soon...noone seems to have responded....Does that help any?

and jonH2O you should do industrial, you seem to be good at it (although ive only heard one of ur songs)
You've reviewed a few of my songs =). I would think you've heard more than one.
I always thought Industrial was long for Indie music.....Indie is like...guitars and such right? Industrial is like...crazy ass electronic music or something?

That sounds like a good idea to me. Go for it.
