What is really becomming a joke is this fucking forum. Everyone needs to just shut the fuck up about it. We know all about it, we are apart of it, we get it.
The AP is NOT there as a showcase for audio artists - it exists primarily as a place where Flash artists can find some cool loops for their submissions.
If you're looking for more than to have your tune used in a cool (or not so cool) Flash movie or game, then yes, you probably should be putting your music on Soundclicks or Garageband.

Just joking. I didn't know any of that. I'm sure I learned it some day. But I don't remember. I had a pretty good idea that Quebecers were from Quebec...but nothing about the French or whatever the hell.

Make sure and Download the ElectroMechanical 2.0 ReFill. It's a 100mb file. Very nice organ sounds.
The only ReFills I have downloaded have been from Propellerheads.se. I couldn't find any anywhere else...for free.

Man, speaking of retarded teachers. I had this lame english teacher in 10th grade. She was so lame that she was lame. I mean, lame.. Like, lamer than being lame itself..Totaly lame x 4. Anyways, I wanted to piss her off.
During passing I went up to her computer and turned the Contrast and Brightness all the way down to make a Black screen. She didn't know wha the hell to do. She was bitching for like 10 minutes until one of the students started fiddling with it...I sat in the far back of the room right next to her desk.
I kinda feel bad now. She passed me with a D. I didn't do crap in that class.
One thing I can't stand is when someone with glasses tilts there head up to look at something....I don't know why that annoys me so much. And I'll be damned if she did it.

And I'm aware of the size limit. But I don't really understand how some people have flash animations sent in to newground that are a little over 7. But, the ones I've seen have really, really great effects. I would guess that they sent an email over to someone to get it to pass.

I made a music video to one of my songs. I'm thinking of importing the movie into flash and submitting it onto newgrounds. But before I work out the flash part I want to know if any of you guys wanna watch it, and see if it's even worth submiting.
Anyways, if you wanna see what the hell I've made, I could send it to you over AIM or YAHOO or something... It's something like 10 Mb in shitty quality.
That's exactly what I've been doing recently.
One of the problems that I've gotten when plugging my guitar directly into the computer's sound card is that the Sound Blaster type cards that are used primarily for games and computer system alert sounds don't have the proper electrical input load characteristics to match the guitar's output. Yeah, it will work but the sound is going to suffer because of it. If you had one of the newer pro or semi-pro sound cards that are designed for primarily digital recording then the chances of the loads being in the right range are much better. That will make the sound of the guitar much better as well.
I burn and incorporate my enhanced senses to my train of thought. That kind of leads in its own direction. I don't worry about finger placement, progression. All I worry about is what sounds good. Just when a whole note or a half note would be in tune......and holy shit......it's crazy. At least while I'm doing it.
My favorite guitar technique is spacing off.
I know that there is a way to do it with the software that I have for my computer. Not with an emulator or anything. But I have an input for that Red, Yellow and White cable in the back of my computer. It would be simple to just plug anything in that and rip away!
you should add THE FUNNIEST TRACK to the list. I think that's worthy of an award. I don't think it should be gold either.
I could see this a good idea if there were as much people submitting audio as there is people submitting movies along with the audience to go with it. There just isn't a big audience for it in comparison to the rest of the traffic on the site. And, after all, the main purpose of the audio portal is to aid flash artists in finding music. People that goto the audio portal to simply listen to the music is probably an even smaller majority.
I do believe that a reward would increase the overall effort in submissions to the audio portal in attempt to win a prize, and yes, it SOUNDS cool. But, there are way too many things to consider to make the award valid. Like you brought up, do it after the voting thing is cleared out. That still doesn't affect how many people actualy vote on the audio in the first place. There would need to be more change than that. Like more voters. The possibility of having it exactly like the the flash voting system where just moderators and such can vote sounds like it could possibly work. But it just seems too off of the whole idea of the main purpose of the audio portal. Which is to provide for a better selection of music for flash artists. Does having the best voted song havne anything to do with someone likeing it and using it in their flash? No. It doesn't make a difference whatsoever.
The only way I can think of to produce equality between the flash portal and the audio portal is to produce a whole other website which would be wholly dedicated to audio; as newgrounds pretty much is for animations.
It would be neat to see newgrounds start a partner site wholly dedicated to music and go back to just having flash on newgrounds.
Kinda like soundclick.com or something. Maybe more professional music artists would be attracted to the place and would increase the quality of music available to flash artists. No thoughts on how well tha'd work out; thinking about money and such.
All I'm saying is, even after a few alterations, the audience just isn't there for it. There is just too much stuff to work out before even considering something like this. It's like building a supermall in the middle of the country when hearing that its going to be the next big city in a couple years; there is no point building something like that until the people are already there. Noones going to drive all the way there for the same shit unless they live fairly close by....unless its a really kick ass mall. And they gotta know about it first...does that kind of put it in perspective? And right now, the audio portal isn't exactly FUCKIGN AWESOME AS HELL. I see it more as just a place to recieve a few reviews and a little direction on my songs. I don't expect a reward.
Anyways, just my thoughts. and also..You might want to post your idea in a different post. I looked for it and couldn't find it. I'm sure Denvish or someone will refer this idea to there.....

How would someone like humantarget52 get to level 30? It says it will take me 102 years to get to that level, yet he's been registered for like, 6 years. Is there a way to get more than 10 experience a day or something? Or maybe I'm just leaning on your level calculator a little too much.....I doesn't seem to be accurate. If you get 10 experience a day that's 3,650 experience max a year...Where did 102? Six years being registered sounds about right for 10 points a day.

Pretty much influence in general. I brought up video games because that was what I grew up around; it was like, all I did.
Anyways, there is no doubt that we are all influenced on everything at some level or another. And what else would our past experiences effect more than our artistry other than, maybe, our entire personality as a whole?
I mean, think about this. Do you think that you would be the same person if you were raised by different parents, born in a different country, or raised up with a different religion? If you were cloned, would that clone be the exact same person as you? No.
I suck at hacky sack. The most hits I've ever gotton in a row was like, 5. Usualy I play during lunch with a few friends. Everyday, there is always one asshole that wants to fuck around and jsut stand in the hack circle and not pay attention..Why the hell be in the circle?
