Chanukah..... hanukkah....However the bejesus you spell it.

I emailed Denvish about all the abuse like a week ago. I think they're starting to realize it.
Sure you can. Who would know?
It's nice to ask the Artist.

Liljim has deleted individual songs for me in the past. Either he remembers me or what, but he hasn't responded to my last couple of emails to remove all of my songs but a couple. Gah.
When were dead we don't have a brain to be able to retain information. We live solely in the rpesent moment and that is why it is the best psosible experience. That seems to make sense why we don't remember anything before our birth.

It's still fun.
Anyone know how long it's been in development?

It's a both a keyboard and a keyboard. har har. $100
All of my older songs were made in Fruity Loops. I don't really have a clue how to use it. For me Reason was easier to learn. I guess because I wanted to. Never really had any interest in FL. I want to buy it to run both programs together. It's hard to sequence vocals efficiently with Reason alone. I just run them through an NN-XT.
It makes the guitar signal you plug into it a line signal..That's what a Pre pretty much does.
I would suggest asking that in the Flash forums. The people in there would know mroe about fiel type requirements and all that jazz....

Let us know if you get somethin'.

Yeah you do need a MIDI Controller for that aspect of the program. But MIDI isn't really the strong point for Pro Tools. Get a Digi002 rack or a M-Box or something and you can record. It does not require a MIDI controller to be used at all.
When someone talks about dynamics of a sound they are talking about the range of level. It's just the change in loudness. An example of something that has little (or no) dynamic range would be music that gets played on the radio. It is at a constant level so it can be broadcasted farther. All of the high peaks are compressed to the lower sounding stuff so it is all at the same volume.
An example of something with alot of dynamic range would be classical music. Quiet chimes, loud drums and everything. Lots of space and atmosphere in the sound; Reverberation.
Hope that helps. They probably ment you had everything at the same level. I didn't listen to it.

I remember that game! It's pretty fun.
What they are is 'packages' that contain samples of instruments, mapped in sets and also available as individual samples...for use in Reason. They also often include multiple patches for Reason's internal devices.
can I use them with FL?
Nope. They're a certain file format that only works in Reason. You could, however, spend some time recording each individual sound in its own Reason session, and then exporing it as a loop. But that would take 34539485 years.
There are some really awesome books out there too.
Reason 3: Visual Quickstart Guide is probably THE book to get. I own the quide for Pro Tools and it covers EVERYTHING.
The books like 400 pages and only costs like $15.00. Judging from the Pro Tools book I'd go for it. Hell, for $15.00.
I bought this and it sucks. It goes over every damn knob, which is good, but it doesn't really talk about what it does or advantages of using it and such. And, alot of the devices have the same things like Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release. They sorted the book out by device instead of controls and etc. so it's very rhetorical information for each device...
Hey Chron, I hate to say this, but I'm going to have to back out of soloing to the vocal harmony to that remix you did..Gah.

It'd be like the old Clayfighter games for SNES!
I remember playing for the first time at a big video game event in Tacoma..Looong time ago. 1997, I think. They had all the new SNES games all over the place. It was awesome. Tons of contests too. They would set up about 10 screens and you would compete with 9 other people to see who can get past the first couple of levels the fastest..I think I won a pen for 2nd place..haha.

When searching for "Reason tutorial", I came across this right at the top:
Would anyone like to explain how to use Reason as a slave for Fruity Loops? I'd like to get into that...

yeah but then all the hard working guys who made the program get a slap in the face whenever you do that sort of thing...
More than 50% of software users steal a specific piece of software. Think about a clerk saying that. "Yeah, about 50% of the customers that come in here pay."

LOL! I don't see a program in there, except I Pod stuff :P
Weird.
Well, that's all great and dandy, but why would you make a thread about it? Why not just post personal stuff like this in the lounge.

I'm currently lending mine out right now, so I'm trial-and-erroring the program out for the first time. It looks GREAT but as far as composing the music, can it only be done with a keyboard?
Or do I just need to spend a little more time tinkering around with it?
First off, you can do everything with or without a keyboard...But without one you will have to click in the notes on a grid, like writing tablature. You are greatly reducing your creativity because you cannot record yourself playing live on the keyboard. It is very time consuming.
