a professional animator*
not even... I'm not even a professional, and I can do the things that companies paying that much ask for.

I don't own a company.

I understand that someone who animates professionally can live off the salary they work for. And that what I am offering doesnt come close to that.

This is just a passion project of mine. And the hundred dollars per minute of animation is my attempt to put everything I have into making it a reality. My hope is that the money involved would help motivate people to get invested in the project. But I understand that its just a drop in bucket compared to the real money animators can make in the TV/Movie industry

Looking to pay animators Posted June 30th, 2013 in Collaboration

Hello everyone, here is the important part of the topic first and foremost.

Animators will be paid 100 dollars per minute of animation done. The quality can affect the pay out, only in a beneficial way(such as heavy use of frame by frame). I'll do my best to be fair, but never expect a payout bigger than 150 for your 1 minute contribution. And if for whatever reason there is a disagreement, I will not steal your unpaid work. I will choose to hire people based on their past work (youtube links will not be considered)

That said, I am trying to produce the third installment of a cartoon saga called "Con_Quest".

(here is conquest 1 and 2 combined in one video)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAPbgvJvLTs

While the first and second merely got the job done. I look back and realized the audio needed to greatly improve, the writing needed to finally go somewhere, and the animation needed to show a level of quality that will grab people. And with Con_Quest 3, I feel the series is finally starting to go in the right direction.

I have the entire audio and script available to everyone involved. Will probably post both here so that animators can check it out for themselves before contacting me. Also considering to do all my own story boards so that the direction doesnt get messy. People who contact me early can discuss this with me.

One thing though, while the characters can look cleaner. I want the stle of the art to remain the same. This is important for the project. I'm not interested in giving my series a collaborated look and feel to it.

I'll try to check back here and my private box as often as i can. However, the best way to contact me is joltmasta@yahoo.com or dnubbsz on aim

thanks for taking a look, hope to get some talented people involved.

It irks me that people think they know every single flash on NG that would be interesting to the viewer of your submission. How do you even know what kind of message they got out of your work? It may be something entirely different than you realize.

You wouldnt know what kind of message they got from it. but a human being is more likely to suggest more relevant flash submissions then Ai operated system that just suggests flash submissions that were on the front page a week ago. Just sayin

Just ignore it if you've got a sandy vagina about it.

its not the biggest deal but i wouldnt mind expressing my opinion about it.

Question about site layout Posted July 6th, 2009 in General

Why cant the creator of their cartoons decide what "You might also like" it uirks me that sometimes i see a cartoon i DONT like next to my submissions, being recommended to other people. I'd rather have the ability to set that list up myself and make it relevant to my type of humor. or give notice to cartoons that ARENT being watchign 250 times a day

Response to: Street Fighter Collab / Art Contest Posted March 24th, 2009 in NG News

so dont you think its silly that the amount of days you had to meet your deadline is being overshadowed by the amount of time its taking to put all of the submissions that OTHER people worked on into 1 file and put it onto newgrounds?

Response to: Street Fighter Collab / Art Contest Posted March 24th, 2009 in NG News

those "free cartoons" have been done and submitted over2 months ago. im sure even some of the people who submitted their work are getting impatient with how long this is taking

Response to: Street Fighter Collab / Art Contest Posted March 24th, 2009 in NG News

someone really needs to appoint another person to handle the big collaborations. stamper gets the best ideas but takes an eternity and a half to release them.. SF4's been out for over a month now. the hype is gone!!! same thing happened with the MGS collab

i thought it was obvious but they dont seem to work

Response to: Metal Gear Collab (Update) Posted June 27th, 2008 in NG News

come on!!!! its not like your translating Mother 3, YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE!!!!

its been like 2 weeks+ since the deadline was over. whats taking so freakin long

upload my flash document and not have to worry about it getting deleted b y the community? i have a pretty funny flash that i wanna show my friends but i know its not newgrounds quality material.

the flash program itself.. i heard you could

Response to: Salad Fingers = Crap Posted April 22nd, 2006 in General

i think its sad how no one can really accept his opinion. everyones being alot more immature by saying he's wrong and that he's stupid. your all the ignorant ones fortrying to make your opinion law and forcing it onto him.

Response to: Salad Fingers = Crap Posted April 21st, 2006 in General

dude you wouldnt know funny if it came up from behind you pulled ur balls off and stuck it down your throat she stfu salad fingers is funny, random, weird, and great animation

i vouch that its terrible in all areas you mentioned

its all about how good animation is. plotline and humor and way more important in my book. btw he doesnt do anythign specacular. reuses old character models and doesnt animate anything. just tweens

Response to: newgrounders only want eye candy. Posted April 21st, 2006 in General

metal gear awesome still had some pretty fluent animation in some scenes. that was a bad example

Response to: newgrounders only want eye candy. Posted April 21st, 2006 in General

nope all my flash makes it through. even tho my toon is being poorly reviewed by some this is over a toon a saw that was great but deleted.

Response to: newgrounders only want eye candy. Posted April 21st, 2006 in General

thats not fair. it shouldnt work like that.. the voting system is set up to promote that kind of misuse... its stupid

newgrounders only want eye candy. Posted April 21st, 2006 in General

it has to be visually stunning or else everyone will hate it. the plot could be great or so could the jokes but if the grpahics dont look great its shunned. i think im one of few who can look past graphics and still enjoy a cartoon on newgrounds anymore

i have everything you need including the menu itself i just need an action scriptor to make the buttons and put the content in their respectable places. i had someone who said theyd do it for me but this user hasnt responded to my e-mails the past 2 days and i need this done by the 20th

Response to: my cartoon looses synq qith audio Posted April 14th, 2006 in Game Development

so theres nothing i can do?

Response to: Background question. Posted April 14th, 2006 in Game Development

where it says "layer one" to the left of the frames, right click it and click "add a new layer" then on the bottom layer create your background and lock it to draw stuff over it

Response to: my cartoon looses synq qith audio Posted April 14th, 2006 in Game Development

it helped a litte. but it still looses synq further on. regardless of if i put it on stream

bleh. i had this prblem before and i fixed it by making every sound file Event and then having a silent track on Stream.... but this time around it doesnt work and absolutly everything is an Event sound file... what do i do
