To Nintendo's credit, the VB was at least innovative. Other consoles failed from just being shitty (Saturn, Jaguar, CD-I, etc.), but you can't say that the VB wasn't wildly unique. At least Nintendo had the cajoneys to try something new. Shitty, yes, but new.

I'm looking for flash movie that was on NG about a yellow angry-face man who goes to a store and steals a dildo (seriously, that's what it was). It came out earlier this year and had terrible art and animation. It was on the frontpage for a little while!

I've tried searching for it, but because every word in the title was so incredibly mispelled, I can't get any results. It looked something like "ANGRAY MAN GOSE TO TEH STOAR!!!!!1111" or "ANGRYFAIC MAN STIEALS FROM TEH SOTAR!!!!111111" --you get the idea.

Memento was awesome. I remember that people in my Psy 001 class had a lots of questions about it when we studied short-term memory loss because it had just come out. Search google video for the "stabilized" version of the Zapruder film (JFK's assassination). No joke, it really disturbed me. I wasn't prepared for how bad it would be. It also has a creepy disconnected feel to it because the frame floats around the screen to correct the shaky camera. Plus, it all goes on in silence. Creepy.

What's really sick about Budd's suicide is that he was innocent. He was about to go to jail for the rest of his life for a crime he didn't commit, and get fined on top of that. No one could or cared to help him. This wasn't a "I'm depressed/I hate myseld" suicide, this man really had nowhere to go and no hope. It's so profoundly sad. I admire his courage to show everyone the pain he felt inside, but the horror of the event obscures the horror of what was happening to him.

I don't think the game has an end, either. It is probably meant to prove that McDonalds/Capitalsim is not sustainable.
