This has just been a bad week.

Saturday - Monday: Mom at Hospital - Kidney Stones and Intestinal Blockage

Tuesday: Sister at Hospital - Trauma

Wednesday: Me avoiding my girlfriend's call to go to the hospital, passing out repeatedly.

I just can't wait for the rest of the week.

So hey, half way through Government Law I got a pounding migraine, went blind in one eye and numb in the mouth, arms and my right leg. I collapsed while going to the nurses, slept there for an hour, collapsed later under the table in the English office, took some ibuprofin (which I regret, as I do NOT react well to it), came home at four and just now woke up.

If I can feel helpless when sending my thirteen year old sister to the hospital for emergency stitches and setting of an arm, while avoiding being goth, anyone can.

She's back home now. Just a bad sprain in the hand and wrist, the x-rays showed, not broken like everyone thought. The stitches are hard to get past; I've had to work at maintaining my respectable decency here when replaying how long doctors made everyone wait. It'll be a few weeks, but she'll be fine...

Logic just seems to miss you on the subject of the economy, here...How is it fair that the rich man be allowed to skate by with $900,000, while the poor man now has only $9,000? Every man puts in their fair share of what they make, not some random amount pulled out of your ass that you think looks nice, like 10%.

I'm putting an end to this right now: a 10% across-the-board flat income tax would NOT be enough to keep the Federal Government solvent and running. It would have to be hiked up to around 30 - 35%, which would leave the poor man with only $6,500. You try getting your life in order on $6,500 a year.

The policy of the United States is this: if you MAKE more, you PAY more. Someone making $1,000,000 a year might, in the end, through loopholes in the system, pay about that same $3,500 that poor man is paying. Get rid of the loopholes, make that rich person pay within his tax bracket, and then your problems are solved.

say everyone paid 10% tax. lets say the poor make $10,000 then they would pay $1000 for tax. the middle class makes $50,000 then they would pay $5000 on tax. the rich would make $1,000,000 then they would pay $100,000 on tax. this way its equal for everyone and fair.
