I think this is authentic, and they first did the human body then built the armour around him, because if I remember correctly there was a glitch to see inside his helmet in the Halo3 beta, if you got the camera close to the back of his head, and it would show you a bald dude, so yea, Master Chief is Bruce Willis.

Is there anyway I can take the data from one game, where I've unlocked alot of stuff, and start a new game, and still have that stuff, for example, at the end of completing my first playthrough I unlocked the tuxedo, but there's no way I can use it because I don't have it when I start a new game. Any help please?
