We already have the artwork, a fantastic programmer and a server for 1,000s to play on, but we need an animator. Don't need anything too flashy, just something to get the job done and ready for Kickstarter in a couple of months. Java experience or similar is preferred and payment will come from kickstarter + 25% of any profits that the game will make.

What does a conductor do to plan, rehearse and perform an original orchestra? Do they masterfully know how to play each instrument and even if they could then they couldn't play them all at the same time. Without the conductor being there from the beginning to the end and building their symphony with the dozens of individuals that it takes to make something brilliant, then there is no orchestra. But at the same time, without all of the individuals that are playing the conductor's music, then the conductor is nothing.

Game Designers create new and exciting ideas and bring a group of people together in order to make their vision a reality. They are also the ones that check over every piece of artwork, go over every bug with the programmers and balance the budgets so that everyone in the group gets paid and that all the resources needed to make the game are provided.

It would be nice if people could program, draw and make the music for entire games, but very rarely are real games made as such. Can I program, draw or even throw together a decent track for a game? No, I cannot. Even if I could there would probably be someone out there who would be better than me and that's who I would want on my team anyway.

I'd tell you, but you'd have to be on the team. Sorry. However, if you look at any credible school that offers gaming degrees such as USC or Full Sail University, you will always find Game Designer in their degree program so there must be something important about them.

No, I cannot. Can you? If so, wonderful. As I stated in the first sentence of the Ad, I am an amateur. That means no experience in actually making a game, thus no surprise if and when there comes a time that I don't know what to do.

Thank you for your concern and if you are an amateur or experienced 2D/3D Game Animator and are interested in making something new and interesting please contact me at

Wanted: 2d/3d Game Animators Posted November 11th, 2013 in Animation

My name is JJ Rhodus and I am an amateur Game Designer looking for two artists to assist on a project that is already in the early stages of development. It is a somewhat simple board game with some interesting RPG elements that have not been done like this before. I already have one programmer and the game is ready for a good visual makeover.

Payment will be in the form of equal rights of the game to everyone on the team, including myself, so the less people working on the project the better, which also means that more work for everyone involved. This should appeal to anyone out there who, like myself, is trying to build a name for themselves.

If this sounds interesting to anyone please contact me at:

I am currently working on a project with a programmer and sound engineer that is simple but will require a lot of work over the next 6 months or so. I am offering an equal share of the creative rights to whomever helps me complete the project, so the quality and amount of work that you can do would certainly improve your odds.

What I need to see is at least one example of the following: A Human Swordsman, An Elven White Mage, A Rogue Ork, A Zombie Archer and/or A Black Mage Vampire.

Response to: I'm a programmer! Posted April 3rd, 2013 in Collaboration

I am in need of a programmer to make a simple 2D demo. Nolan and Brent Bushnell are waiting for a playable demo of this game and I'm sure it could only take a couple weeks to a month to complete. Hit me back at:
