also, we need to keep the troops in there to keep the peace- the genvena convention demands it(although the colliation still isn't) and considering how they used the geneva convention against Saddam, it surely must prove what high reguard they have for it. They just cannot go in, destory everything, and go out, or millions will die from stravation alone.
i'd be on them for that if they take the PROFIT. If they use the oil to pay for the rebuilding of Iraq, i have no problem. If they take the oil for the substanstion of America, then we have a problem.

also, if the colliation leaves, they leave behind both a country that WILL have a civil war, and they'll be leaving behind Bush's dream of a democratic Iraq.Not to mention the International play downs they'll receive for destorying the Iraqi ecconmy and just leaving. In short, if the colliation were to pull out now now, they'll just have way more problems than what they began with.

i disagree- i used to consider the American government as fair and just- but now, after this war, I looked into the unspoken history about the US(democery replaced by dictator in Chile, for one example off the top of my head), and i now hate the US government, and their treatment of other Nations. I didn't think much of the government beforehand, but now i believe the American government is horrible- it has made me less arrogent, i believe, and the less arrogence has made me hate the government even more.

And yet no one explained how the French were wrong with their idea of tripling the inspectors. They'll use a Veto? so what- please tell me who holds a Veto- America(pro-war), England(Pro-War), Russia(Anti-War), China(Anti-War) and France(Anti-War). So if France didn't use their Veto, why wouldn't these other nations? And there is a way around the Veto, contry to popular belief- if 2/3 of the security council agrees with the propositution, then its a go, reguardless.

uhhhh.....Iraq is a pretty new country there kiddo- less than a hundred years old. so, if these artifacts are 4000 years old, then they trully belong to the WORLD. They are international tresures and the nation that it was found in has the right to keep it- but that does not mean they own it. Uruk, Persia, Babylonia, they where all mesiopomian states that spread far beyond the borders of Iraq- hell, it was mesopatimia until after the first world war, when Britian and co conquered them and used their resources to pay for post war. Iraqi's did not make them, so Iraqi's do not "own" them. Just the same as if i were Itailian, and found a new roman city, does that give me the right to own everything within the city?
these facts should help you with your rants (i agree that this war is BS, but you sure did put that down like a rant- not alot of people will bother to read it because of that)
