Lately theres been alot of fuss about freedom of speech on the net and what exactly you can and cant say. Some say you have to respect peoples right to privacy and that it needs to be censored just like TV, while some others say that it would violate our rights to censor the internet and the internet should be a place for free exchange of ideas and stuff. I'd like to know what everyone thinks about this.

1. should the government be able to censor the internet.
2. What, if any, restrictions should be made.
3. what do you think the internet is mainly for, besides porn.

Maybe I wright like an eigth grader because I am an eith grader.

I think it would be kind of cool to have an underwater cafe and stuff but im not in australia if they wanted to build a starbucks in yellowstone i wouldnt be thinking the same thing. Yay earth! huh kinda odd you dont see earth capitalized much but you do america.

The whole thing seems like a stupid idea espescially because i think they would like it more than they dislike it. First of all the fact that we would care so much about something so futile just proves what the france have been saying all along, stupid americans. second of all the french, being known most for thier fancy food, probably hate to have a food so "crappy" being named after them. Finally it jsut spurrs on the idea that americans are fat slobs that we would care so much about the name of our precious food, and French fries were originally made in Belgium

I think that religon shouldn't interfere with the government's desiscion but it should not be completely removed from the government, like under god in the pledge. The decisions the government makes should be for the people just like they were meant to be. However from that dogmatic law thing in the bible it does say that we basically make the laws to get into because Jesus promised to Peter, "what you hold true on earth i will hold true in heaven." so we make the laws and we should make the laws to what we feel as a comfortable society.

first of all niether of those are facts they are opinions, second of all its for both but think of it this way. the saudi snd kuwait oil will only last 40 more years, the qatar and UAE will only last 20, and iraq's oil is thought to be somewhere in between that so i dont think oil plays a reat role in this but we wouldnt bother doing this as much as we are if he didnt have as much oil. just look at what were doing with north korea... nothing

personally i think he just wants as much attention as he can get because if you ever watch him giving speeches hes got a little smirk on but hes trying to hide it, even during the columbia speech he made he was smirking.

I feel that having a gun should be like driving a car, both are deadly if misused so both should be treated equally. You should have to pass some sort of test and show you can use a gun properly to get a gun liscense and no one without a gun liscense can buy or use a gun. Also ex-cons and insane people should have certain restrictions on thier gun rights. It may give the right to bear arms in the bill of rights or whatever it was but it also, at one time, said drinking alcohol was illegal.

I feel that abortion should not be illegal. I hate to use this analogy but its kinda like the movie alien, I doubt anyone would say that it would be wrong to get an abortion if you were aborting the fetus of a carnal, acid blooded, sharp toothed extraterrestrial, but if that alien in that womans stomach was your baby you wouldnt want it to get aborted. There should be some restrictions on abortion though, like no third trimester abortions and repeat aborters, unless the woman has some sort of genetic disability or other special circumstances.

You are right about other countries giving iraq weapons; france gave iraq many nuclear reactor parts and satalite images of US and other countries during the embargo, russia and germany gave iraq surplus weapon stuff, china gave iraq weapons too. I cant say however we are that clean cause we gave them weaapons when they were helping us fight iran but that was before we knew saddam hussien was a crazy bastard. and france sucks.
