Theres loads of shit rock and metal bands, just like there are loads of shit rappers.

There are also amazing rappers. Rap isnt really my thing but ive been listening to a lot of Eminem recently and that guy is a real storyteller.

On a technical level it might not be as impressive, you cant compare a rapper singing along to a cassette to a full live band in my opinion, but thats my opinion. saying all rap is crap is bullshit.

So the other day me and my girlfriend decided to get a pair of female chinese hamsters! They are so tiny and crazy that I just had to get them. Fully grown they are only 10-12cm, the females being smaller than the males.

I love them so much. Mine is called Sock. We got them an awesome cage, then today went and got them a maze extension and a mini outpost for dust baths and things. They wriggle in the dust, awesome.

Also I was reading through a book and they can do acrobatics, there was a picture of a chinese hamster doing a flip!

I now want to make a game where you control a horde of 50 tiny vicious hamsters and strip everything in your path!

Just make sure that if you do go through with this, do your homework. Make sure its someone with a decent back catalouge of games, and read some of thier previous posts to see if thier time seems worth that kind of money.

My opinions on this kind of thing have changed in the past years, after moving to bournemouth and visiting amsterdam. The amount of contaminated marijuana here is unbelievable, I watch people smoking weed that I know is covered in tiny glass balls nearly everyday.

If we just legalized this stuff we could ensure criminals arent making money from harming people, people can be educated properly and frankly, and maybe we can put some of that money back into our sliding economy

Ive been doing some "proper" animating recently, for the intro for my Julius Mardrom game. Its been a while since Ive done anything like it, but like a lot of people taught myself how to use flash making shitty animations. Feels good to go back to your roots and see how much youve improved :)

Its currently called Redneck Downhill Challenge. I guess it started out as a response to how well these really simple games like
Shopping Cart Hero and Learn to Fly are doing at the moment. There is SO little to them, but they are getting millions and millions of plays.

Basically you build a cart out of different parts, then race it down a hill will ragdoll and lots of fancy stuff. Anyway, hopefully should turn out well! Also LongAnimals recently did a multiplayer api for MindJolt and is currently deciding whether or not it would work for this... :P

I think this game is actually gonna turn out really really nice!

Has everyone seen Google Wave? I really like the idea of my email/IMs/blogposts/forumposts all being connected by a central hub. Its great they are going open source and if a lot of websites pick this up it could really change the internet!
