thanx 2 me, and ya niggaz just haten cuz ya nigga listen 2 gay azz rock.

Actually, we're "haten" because you come to the wrong place with the wrong words asking for the wrong animation to be doen to supremely wrong music.
Get your facts straight, jeez.
I do have one good thing to say about you - I admire your courage for putting your "rapz" on the internet. I know I would never have been able to associate myself with such shit music.

Seeing as most of them don't rhyme, I think what you mean by that is "your attempts at rapping are garbage".

The List
A kind of overture/prelude/intro for the techno sub-musical I'm working on. I'm pretty sure it's my best song yet, and it only took 3 hours.
^_______^

Lyrics are as follows:
Once upon a time in a world like this,
There was a group of people ruling with an iron fist.
The public couldn't help but notice that something was amiss,
But anyone who rebelled was added to the list.

I'm Impresed. You've been making music since 1985. How old are you?
I know that NG is primarily a flash site, what I was suggesting was a semi-breakoff.
I have been looking around the interweb and I can't find an audio site with a good reviewing and rating system that isn't specialist (like OCR, for example) so if you could direct me to one that would be very much appreciated.

a) it will get you more reviews, opinions and votes
b) it will stand you in better stead for a frontpage spot
c) it will help the NG audio community grow stronger

If you can't be bothered to do that, then it's your loss.

I am fully aware how long that would take - perhaps you could just look through a few mintes a day and see if you get anything good. I am also aware that you have a life, and can't spend all your time on NG, let alone chasing up front page possibilities.
I am aware that the audio portal is littered with shite music, and I am also aware that if it had a blam/protect system like the flash portal it would be somewhat cleaned up, but I know that's not you're problem.
The reaon I don't post often is because of the hundreds of 8 year olds and/or 8 year old wannabes, but I am told that this forum has a firewall (or a flamewall, to be more precise) now, so I'll give it a try.

Response to: newgrounds musician front page list Posted December 6th, 2005 in Audio

People often have good reason not to post, but let's not start this argument up again, eh? MSN is quite enough, let other people flame me.

Response to: newgrounds musician front page list Posted December 6th, 2005 in Audio

So, denvish picks these songs from people who are active on the forums?
I am extremely inactive on this forum, but I have a fair amount of music and it tends to get good reviews, and I only know about this method from Khuskan (who happens to be a good friend of mine in "RL") and I feel it's really unfair.
There are lots of people out there who will never hear how this system works, but will keep posting audio, keep hoping to get on the front page, and keep having their bubbles burst.

Denvish:
"There are many, many, excellent artists who fall into this category. If they're active on the Audio forum, it will stand them in better stead in terms of recognition, but sometimes I'm going to choose artists who you guys have never even heard of. Don't let that stop you from listening to their tracks WITHOUT PREJUDICE, and giving them a bit of a boost if you like what you hear."

It's a nice idea and mostly a nice system, but How is giving people on the forums priority fair? I know I will get no backing, and will probably be flamed for this because, frankly, the people who don't use the forums are hugely unrepresented on the forums, so I stand a very slim chance of getting this recognised, but isn't the method of random selection and listning better than choosing someone of the forums and listning to some music they promoted?

And also, why did this make the weekly number one?

Sorry, I meant:
Check out my music!
I particularly reccomend Final Bowser HR Mix + Bass, Lightswitch Rave and Battery Final (that one that lies).

Do you know how WRONG you all are? What you have to do is PLAY with the EQ and TWIDDLE the volume knobs.

There is NO POSSIBLE WAY IN HELL that you can actually MAKE music on a computer. Man, you've gotta buy yourself a big SSL mixing desk and a whole bunch of outboard effects, microphones, instruments and soundproofing gear. If you can't afford that, then you might want to see if you can rent out someone elses studio space.

I mean, lets face it. Anyone who tries to make music on a computer is CLEARLY retarded. Software is for chumps, idiots and babies. Unless you like your music to sound like a gameboy put through a crappy fuzz pedal.

Hey, if you don't mind flying over to Australia, I'll let you use my studio for free. Seriously dude, I've got acres and acres of music gear here with your name written all over it.

Maybie, if you just use, like, VJay or somthing, you have a point.
You also have a point that ext-PC music may sound better but for us poor people, expensive pirated software is all we have, and with new software capable of emulating this ridiculously accurately at a fraction of the cost, why pay more?

Response to: Genres that haven't been invented.. Posted October 7th, 2005 in Audio

I would invent a cross-over myself, like Trance-Rap or Techno-Ska, but if I had to get creative, I would make a combination af String Quartet, DnB Drums, Some Techno Bass and an RnB melody.
That's sounding a pretty-pretty goood. I'm gonna do that!
