It takes 100 Copper to make 1 Silver, and 100 Silver to make 1 Gold. Now imagine that in the form of 5,000.

But...at level 60 most good drops off of monsters can sell for several gold, and vendor trash can add up quickly. Even so, 5,000 gold would take time to make without buying it or having a good proffesion.
