you can't get addicted off a drug the first time you take it - that's a fact. you can get cravings for drugs when you're coming down - that's quite common, it's almost like a hangover - but you can't get addicted the first time. i know addicts and i know addiction. by definition you've got to have done something more than once before you are addicted to it - addictions are habitual rather than just 'coming down feels shit, let's do some more heroin'.
