Explosions in the Sky are kind of boring to me. I prefer some epic stuff in between (Godspeed You! Black Emperor is an example) it stays too soft for too long.

I know it's a bit late, but since you can see his gamertag could the owner sue? I'm sure they didn't ask permission to use his voice in a news segment. I would pissed off if they got a copy of what I say without me knowing it.

I wouldn't be so bothered if it wasn't the fact FOX doesn't know shit about games in general. How can they take this seriously? Most slurs are just fun and games on Xbox Live. Even then, who gets so offended from a word? You always have the ability to quit out of a game if you are offended, you can report, and you can mute the player.

If you hear the slurs then it is your own fault. I just can't stand the news blowing up something beyond its proportions. During the whole thing I could just picture the executive of this show trying to come up with as many methods as possible to scare middle-aged, technology-impaired, overprotective mothers. Also, those recorded slurs are all jokes. Crappy jokes, but jokes nonetheless. It's like a worse version of Carlos Mencia. Those kids are saying those to get shocks and laughs. Even I can see that!

Never liked Interpol, but I know for a FACT that Turn on the Bright Lights is the best thing they will ever put out. It's been a downhill slope for them since that.

- A return to a more organic Radiohead, still not OK Computer though.

- Almost too sweet pop songs. Sounds like it was lifted out of the 1970's charts.

Strawberry Jam by Animal Collective
- Not as good as "Feels" but is a real step forward into better produced, and polished songs.

La Cucaracha by Ween
- I like Ween okay. You have a problem with that?

New Magnetic Wonder by Apples in Stereo
- The Elephant Six Collective is BACK!

- Mike Patton still has it 20 years later. Native American Instruments + Metal = Great

- The only real hard-rock band that improves on each album. Sounds like power tools on full throttle.

- I have a soft spot for Wilco. This album tones it down from the other releases, but manages to pull it off flawlessly. An almost return-to-roots for the band.

It's cool music-based site I use. I like seeing other people's music tastes and Last.fm is great at this. It's not as popular as Myspace so only a few of my friends have one (1). As you can see I like tons of a rock but mostly Indie Rock, and some Classic Rock. I also have a few weirder bands in there (see Mr. Bungle, Sonic Youth) but I stick with the other genres.

This is gameplay-wise, so I don't want "Sephiroth kills Aeriths (or whatever the hell they are called). I just want to hear about some really awesome parts of games that made you go HOLY SHIT.

One part in a game that struck out to me was fighting the splicers in Bioshock. It wouldn't have been as cool if it hadn't been playing the Waltz of the Flowers from the Nutcracker. Maybe I was just tired and losing mind, but that scene emanated awesomeness. I also got a strange Clockwork Orange vibe from the whole classical music+violence, which is no problem with me.

Runners up include any boss battle in Shadow of the Colossus and leaving City 17 in Half-Life 2.

Okay. I have a problem with my computer. For some reason it doesn't recognize that I have a CD-R drive. I am positive that it is connected and has power, but never shows up on My Computer, or lets me burn anything. It worked fine until I installed Vista, but now it doesn't. Any help would make me scream in joy.
