I pitty you. All it takes is one real life friend, and you'd have something better to do. Start dieting. You'll become less fugly and it will give real people less of a reason to make fun of you. Then you could find yourself a friend.

Ah that's looking alot nicer since I last saw it. Rather than just having the google ad box to the right why not have something there? Even just a picture. It looks very.. 'text' at the moment. I notice this on the other pages too, like the games page. You give up more space for your adverts than you do for your GAMES. :)

Yeah, but i'll be shitting out a whole load of games to take up more space.

The box on the right will have newest and best games and also affiliates. I just haven't got round to that yet.

Well if the question was written in base 2, it's only logical that the answer should be too. Thereofore 10 would be the accepted answer if the question was in base 2.

it would the same as 000001 + 000001 = 000010
which in decimal is 2.

Ah, but when he said 10, maybe he was actually writing 2 in binary.

Thats not true. Dividing by 0 is not allowed in algebra. Otherwise:

if a=b,

ab=a^2
ab-b^2=a^2-b^2
b(a-b)=(a+b)(a-b)
b=a+b
b=2b
1=2.

Thats obviously incorrect, and the incorrectness is due to dividing by 0.

It's not as if it's one article that says about this. I was told about it by my maths teacher. I only found that article after ages of searching. It's an accepted theory, not just some bullshit that someones made up.

At 1/9/07 05:11 PM, CrimsonEdge wrote: Not only did you give the wrong equation, but you gave the wrong answer for the equation you gave. Not only that, but you put up a link to shit about the string theory (which is a theory and has little to nothing to do with mathematical theories). Of course, in other dimensions 2+2=1/3, this doesn't make it true.

Hence the absolute flaw with everything you've said. You're an idiot.

I'm beginning to think the same about you. You obviously know nothing about the importance of infinity (i'm not trying to say i do). Mathematicicans wouldn't devote their lives to it and peple wouldn't use it so much in math, in equations and stuff if it wasn't important. It's like the number i (square root of -1). It's not a real number, it's an imaginary number. But it's used a lot in maths.

There's nothing wrong with the link i gave, yes it's just a theory, but so is everything. Maths isn't about rejecting all theories. It uses the most logical theories. Everything has to be a theory because there's no way of proving anything. Even 1+1=2 is a theory.

And i'm afraid the string theory is one which is the most logical, and accepted by society, and in order for that to work, the sum of all positive integers has to equal -1/12. Sure, it's difficult to imagine, but thats the most logical theory.

Stop being so closed minded and try to accept that just maybe, there might be something that is correct that you don't understand and have no idea how it could be true.

Maths is full of unexplained things like this, hopefully one day it will all be properly explained and be a lot clearer, but for now you'll just have to accept that your brain isn't good enough to understand everything.

This is cybex

I wrote the question slightly wqrong. I meant this:

1+2+3+4+5.....+(infinity-2)+(infinity-1)+(inf inity)=?

It's meant to be like that. So in words, what is the sum of all integers from 1 to infinity? There is a real number which is the answer to this question.
