I think it just stopped being good when they starting being set in modern day. As is the situation with Medal of Honor. They traded in everything that was good about the earlier games in favor of cheap attempts to make hollywood-type action and new guns, and now it's just so disgustingly generic.

Though in their defense you can only do world war 2 games for so long before they get generic as well.

I yelled at Fallout New Vegas once cause I was home alone and I kept getting fucked up when you go to the Nellis airforce base while dodging artillery, but other than that I keep my psychopathic rage in my head where I can think as many horrible things as I want.
