if you didn't check the link out it's about sending these little laptops out to children around the world. It has all kinds of neat little things on it. It even comes with a python program in it. If you don't know what that is, it's a programing language and it's on this computer so children in africa or somewhere can be educated. I think this has to be one of the greatest things one can do for another. it's really cheap to. it's 200 for these computers and you get really 2 of them but they send one to a child and they get to keep it. go check that link above and think about doing it.

Well if you have the code down from the tutorial you should do like everyone is saying and check the instance name on your MC. so if the code calls your MC say "Ship" click on your MC and make sure you instance is "Ship" and not "ship" or whatever. If you looking for tutorials though just go above in the search bar by the newgrounds banner and type in tutorials.

Well after long hours of deciding if I should go ahead and upgrade my oh so recent purchase of cs3 to cs4, and after using the trial a little I went ahead and upgraded. This is to anyone who is thinking about doing this while low on cash.

I suggest unless you're a little more into web design or working on serious projects that require that extra detail, you really don't need to upgrade.

Some of the features may have seen or may have heard about such as the bone tool or the 3D skew tools are really some of the only good additions to the upgrade. A few others include the Deco tool which can create vine like structures with pre made or your own made symbols. The spray brush tool which works much like the spray can in paint but has much better features like adding width and height to the spray.

The 3D tool isn't exactly like I high quality 3D creator like AutoDeskMax or swift3D but it allows for skewing objects that you might have combined. ( the first thing you can make with this that is fun is a box.) it's pretty neat but nothing I would consider important, although if you animate it can save you lots of time.

The layout is what really caught my eye. It's not like regular run programs with the file, edit, view etc.) it looks much better is what it comes down to.

So for $200 you could upgrade, and like I said if you are feeling frustrated with really trying to decide the trial is up at adobe like always, and it's "Neat" but really your not missing very much.

any other opinions to help others decide I'm sure would be appreciated.

I was carving one and I pushed to hard, n caved the whole thing in. O well always next year right.

Great, I was trying to get a friend into animation and now i can't even get a trial.

At least you learned some new and perhaps possibly useful new thing.
I was a bit skeptical at first about cs4 but after a few days of going over it, I beleave that cs4 will be a great improvement ( especially the new bones tool ( *joy*)).

Their is no program that makes flash. You have to draw out your animations and send it in to adobe and they make your flash and submit it in your name.

I was mad (i dropped a slice) and I was sad ( I couldn't eat the slice i dropped) so i couldn't put up happy, angry, and sad so I would have been lying to myself if I put angry or sad or happy.

Well what your asking for is kind of difficult really. Not to many people care for the backgrounds of sprites like the sprite database (though they have a few.) If you really want to get the sprites bad enough I suggest you get a ripper. If you say have a playstation 1 game with the sprites you can get PSimage and rip out the sprites and save them as png or w/e. If say you don't have the game you might want to download an emulator, get the game rom, disable all the layesr except for the background. and print screen the whole stage like most rippers. If though you think you are awesome and super cool and think that maybe you could have to skill to rip PC, xbox, xbox 360, PS2, and PS3 games...then you want GGD. It's a program that has the power to rip anything down to binary. Not many people have the skill to use this though since their is no English version, and you have to play with it so much.

You can try and do it...or you can just forget sprites all together and draw your own stuff.

try soundbooth cs3 it can edit sounds pretty good.

Well in fireworks their is a 3D box so i just figured it could be used to make rough 3D models.

well if it's not working and if your using flash cs3 or flash 8 and have both try pasting the code into another flash and format it. If that doesn't work send me the code and I'll format it for you. ( i have 8 and cs3 so 1 should work).

? theirs not an error in your code is their? your project runs correctly?

If you using something like free forums or maybe a some other web host service I don't think you can do much about it. I do know though that if you have your own web site that runs off a server their are some videos on youtube and security tips for web sites though I forgot what site it was that has these tips. Also their is game vindicator, it can be used with games to stop cheating.

Ok I finally decided to go ahead and get the creative suit. So I've played with the new fireworks and totally love it. I've also noticed some 3D capability in fireworks. I just was wondering how can you create make 3D objects (instead of that stupid 3D box) and import it into flash and maybe do some programing in 3D?

My god. Use google it is mighty. The trial is 30 days. You can't re install the trial again and use it again unless you really know how to delete everything you need to off of your computer and then re install it again (but don't it's just pointless.) If people got viruses from drawing then the internet would not exist.

make sure it's not like a movie clip or something like that.

Wind animator is not flash. You can only make gifs and png with it. If your still trying to make longer animations other than maybe a few seconds then get live swif or highly recommended the trial version of flash cs3

windanimator of course. It's used to create sprites really, but for the most part you can animate already made sprites.

Errr.... you might be able to get one at a circuit city or some value store...maybe if you have a electronic or computer store near you, you could get something similar to one but I highly doubt it.

If you can't buy stuff with money from say ebay you could do something like prizerebel and do a hell of a lot of surveys to get 50 $10 dollar ebay cards and buy one.... but i don't suggest that unless you really are desperate.
