Yeah but NG hasn't had one for a while and we've all wanted it for a while :D

NG Shirt Day Posted June 7th, 2006 in General

I say that because of the new PM system, anyone who has an NG Shirt(s) should wear there's tomorrow ALONG with telling everyone about the new PM system including people who hardly know what NG is... I know that's what I'll be doing tomorrow :D.

Response to: Private Messaging! Posted June 7th, 2006 in NG News

Just a quick question by the way, this won't slow the forum/site down at all will it? I mean, won't this PM system crunch up a lot of bandwidth?

Anyway, today = HAPPY DAY
Tomorrow = Newgrounds Shirt day AND going crazy in the halls at school telling people who barely know what NG is about the PM system!! :D

FINALLY! THANK YOU TOM! I've been waiting for this for so long!

Response to: Make me credit you Posted June 7th, 2006 in Game Development

Well I don't think you would really get into trouble for using sprites without giving credit unless you made money off of the flash you used them in. But if you want to stay completely legal, put something like All game sprites belong to their respective owners in the credits or at the beginning somewhere.

Unless FL6 is waaay different than the version I use, instruments should be found under the "Instruments" tab.

Where?

Screw around with the new tools, and if you come to a point where you need help, go to the Ask your fruityloops questions here! thread. Then we can help you out accordingly.

FL Studio 6 Posted June 6th, 2006 in Audio

Hey, I had been using FL Studio 4 for a while and really didn't ever learn anything from it, I just upgraded to 6 today. With a new version, I'd like to have a fresh start at it and actually learn how to use it correctly. I'm wondering if anyone would take the time to teach me FL Studio 6 from the ground up. I wouldn't want you to write any songs for me or anything, I would want to actually LEARN. I don't want to make you end up writing my songs because first that wouldn't be fair to you to be writing my song for me, and also I wouldn't be learning anything which is the whole reason I'd want someone to teach me. So would there be anyone who could help teach me FL Studio 6? Anything that I make during being taught I'd credit you for helping me learn how to make it if you'd like. If there's anything you'd want to teach me besides money that I can give you, I will. But I need a good teacher who's willing to teach me as much as I'm willing to learn. Whether you want repayment or not for teaching me is irrelevant at this point, right now, I'm looking for someone who has either MSN or AIM (preferably AIM) who is good at FL Studio 6, has examples of their work, and is willing to teach me.

My AIM is Pizzalover17
My MSN is jeremysfilms@gmail.com

At this time of me posting this message I'm on MSN. I'm not often on MSN but if you would like to teach me and don't have AIM and only have MSN, if I'm not on by the time you add me on MSN, send me an email (click contact author above this post) and say you're willing to teach me and have MSN, then give me your MSN username. But I'm usually always on AIM if I'm on the computer.

Thanks, Jeremy.

I don't see why you keep everything so unorganized and bland on your site. You could make your site very nice looking, but you make everything the same color and don't ever skip lines. It's all just thrown there, it needs better organization and some eye-candy that makes people actually want to stay on the site or at least be able to tell one page from another visually. Glad to see that you changed the link styles to other colors, makes it look nicer. Please note that I'm not trying to insult your site, but simply giving suggestions.

FL Studio, Pitch? Posted June 3rd, 2006 in Audio

In FL Studio, is there a way to change the master pitch during a song? I've layed out all of the patterns into a song but I want to change the masterpitch at different points throughout the song. How can I do this?

Response to: Php Help! Posted June 2nd, 2006 in Programming

Easiest way would be to use a MySQL database for it. I could always help you set this up for you... if you want me to unblock you on AIM and make up, send me an email.

you can select what memory you want to reset. that's what I love about TI.
Just reset the memory for the graphs.

How? I went to MEM, Reset. In the reset menu, I get a few things in 3 dif categories:

RAM
All RAM...
Defaults...
Archive
Vars...
Apps...
Both...
All
All Memory...

as in, when you go to put in a problem and graph it. like y=2x-3
2) Xmin = -20
Xmax = 20
Ymin = -20
Ymax = 20
well, they'r pefectly acceptable demensions...
try to reset the calculator's memory.

Help me with my calculator please! Posted May 31st, 2006 in General

I have a TI-83+ Graphing Calculator and I'm having some trouble with it. I've had my calculator for about 7 months now and it has always worked fine, up until recently. For some reason, when I go into graph mode, and it tries to display the graph, it returns an error, "INVALID DIM". So I check my window settings, and everything and I see no invalid dimensions given anywhere. I had added on a program that was like the game snake and when a friend accidently cleared some of it's lines of code, it's been giving me this INVALID DIM error whenver I try to enter the graph. I fixed the game back to what it originally was from my backup and ran it, thinking perhaps it triggered something, but my calculator still retruns an INVALID DIM when trying to go to the graph. Now I deleted the program off of my calculator completely to see if that would work, but it didn't change anything.

How can I fix this problem, what's the cause of this problem, and/or is there any other information I need to provide?

I tried helping him out, but I have PS 6.0 and apparently it's not working the way I usually do it (select layer, filter>lens flare). In fact, on his application, lens flare is marked as disabled (un-clickable) Maybe he'll provide us with a screenshot of that part?
