I recently found a short film released in April 2008 by FlightPathPictures that was based on the Newgrounds hit, The Bill Cosby Fun Game. I thought that it deserved a place somewhere in Newgrounds, maybe to be the voice where the game had been silenced.

Note: The game has been taken off Newgrounds because Bill Cosby got with his lawyer and decided that it wasn't funny and sent a legal email about the illegalities of creative parody.

two more reviews, two more times I've been called an asshole.

Also, one older MJ flash got a death threat: "dont teasemichael u asshole ill kill u cublogames u son of a bitch:("

What's also interesting is that people are giving the same kind of feedback for the NEW post-MJ tributes recently uploaded. "Although I regret not getting the chance to piss on his lifeless corpse, I think that this flash accomplished that on its own. Good work." (link)

I refrain from mentioning generic MJ-death comments, go here for that.

A lot of authors are getting targeted for older Jacko toons. Another reason to be hated by a large group of people, and we didn't have to do anything this time. Understand that the Jacko toons were made when he was alive and probably did not contribute to his death. No regrets here. The targeting is specific low MJ-death-related scores/reviews. I was only involved with 3 (MJ baby drop game, Michael Jackson Secrets, and Michael Jackson Interview. I'm not concerned about scores, it's just interesting to see this happen, content that changes someone's opinion when something else happens. It's the same content as the day it came out.

As far as respect to the dead and how it plays into flash parody, I figure that dead celebrities don't need to be respected as much as when they're living. The lawsuits are harder to dish out. The dead don't have the same power to sue you. Freedom to parody feels stronger when the target is dead. It's like as if you are liberated through their death. In a strange way, it's satisfying.

I think the switch is good and all, but why did the government force it? Shouldn't it be a natural course for the TV industry to decide and take? Those stations who could afford it, make the switch earlier, on their own! Check this out, many local stations laid off many people to afford the switch, also during this tough economy, many local advertisers are taking cheaper routes, print ads, not TV ads, so the station doesn't get much of their return anytime soon.

Based on your description I have begun looking for that film. Sounds right up my street, thanks for mentioning it!

Films involving mental illness are always interesting, although it's actually difficult for the film-makers to acquire such footage because of the debate about whether or not the subjects can actually comprehend what they are getting themselves into.

Another one you might like is Marat/Sade (1967). It's hard to get and is overpriced when found for sale. I've watched it one time, when studying film in college.

The Marquis de Sade is locked in the Charenton mental hospital and decides to put on a play. His overseers agree as long as he follows certain conditions. He writes and directs the other mental patients in a play based on the life of the Jean-Paul Marat. As the play progresses, the inmates become more and more possessed by the violence of the play and become extremely difficult to control.

Titicut Follies (1967).

The only American film banned from release for reasons other than obscenity or national security, Titicut Follies was filmed inside the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Bridgewater, a prison hospital for the criminally insane. After the Commonwealth of Massachusetts sued the filmmakers, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled that the film constituted was an invasion of inmate privacy and ordered the withdrawal of the film from circulation.

I've seen this documentary twice, and it's very disturbing.
