Well, as long as it doesnt result in the loss of an author who worked on the original.
Wait, I just thought of something:
What if the next anime collab has a drastically less number of parts than this one, would some of us not be able to move on? I guess we DO have a few authors who made more than one part, so I guess that helps...
I thought I was getting a little closer to Adam phillips... until the YuYu came out....
i cant wait till the next anime collab, I have improved drastically since my part in this.
Man was that a long time ago....
Seriously, go with whatshisname's "Binary Samurai". that is genious... seriously...
as for me..... ummm....
- "The Tokyo Code"
- "Spacebar"
- "The Edo/Tokyo Infection" (Edo is what Tokyo used to be called... or at least I think so)
But Binary samurai is still the best i think.
Okay, I am trying to make a game because it is really fun. Right now, what i have is a stickman, who stands there, and when you press right, he starts running, and goes right, and vide versa for left.
How do i make it so he stops running (return to frame 1) when the KEY is "not down"?
Here is my code so far:
"Key.addListener(watchKeyBoard);
function moveStuff() {
if (Key.isDown(Key.LEFT)) {
this._x -= 5;
this.gotoAndStop( 2 );
}
if (Key.isDown(Key.RIGHT)) {
this._x += 5;
this.gotoAndStop( 3 );
}
}
STICK.onEnterFrame = moveStuff;"
I have tried a lot of sumb stuff, but I am quite the amateur to this, please help:)
Well..... The only part that would be by you is the script. The Animation (main part) would be by someone else, and same with the music. I think you should just practice. Animators aren't just born, they take practice and hard work (not 'hard' really, because normally people start out doing it for fun, so it takes play, not work), and it is never too late to start. Don't give up before you even try:)

Wrong, nuff said.
Thanks, Kirk, I used it and it worked:)
Ok, for a school project i need to script a menue. How do i make it so when you click a button with Instance name "NEXT", it will go to the next frame of a movieclip with instance name "TEXT"?
I am bad at this AS thing, so please help:)
It's like 6:00 PM for me right now.
Well whatever, all I care about is that he submits it before this weekend, because again I won't be here.
Animoney: Yea, I think Kei is planning a sequel.
So I didn't miss the launch? Hooray! Ok I think we should do this little chat over MSN because I am very bad with IRC. It's because my internet is horrendously slow , and I am on mac.
i'll give it a 7 I guess.
But really why does everybody find lipsynching so damn hard? WTF, I can do lipsynch really fast and good, and I find it one of the best parts of animating.
Well yea the center of orientation is normally it but I mean it is just sometimes in the middle but still does that. I think I just figured it out though. When it is a single object, it will expand from both sides, but when it is 2 objects (2 brush strokes), it will stretch on just the side pulled, even if the point of orientation is in the middle.
Hey guys. I am wondering how- you know how when you are free transforming something and you stretch it. Sometimes when you stretch it it expands from both sides, and sometimes, it expands, from just the side being pulled. What is the factor that determines which of these two types will occur?
What is the expected release date? I hope to god it isn't on friday or saturday because I won't be at home then:'(

Wait. All members who have what on our profiles?
Well maybe it used to be cheaper but there was so much piracy they had to keep raising it (Macromedia must pay for food stamps).
1. It costs a lot because it is very very powerful, and capable. There are quite a few full length TV shows that use it.
2. What was question 2 again?
3. What was question 3 again?
4. Flash Professional 8
Sorry for double post (we need a bloody edit button!!!!!!) but I forgot the link...
Here's my ninja. His name is "Psyche" and he is a ruthless violent killer. I wont tell you his whole story but i will make a movie about him some day. Other than that one I made about him, but that wasn't that great...
Yea, maybe tonight i'll get on my ass and finish it. NO promises tho...

WE don't care when you eat a banana, when you lose ten cents or when you donate blood.
Dude...... shut up.
"We this"
"We that"
"We this"
Speak for yourself, if you don't care just STFU.
Yea I'm not really scared of just basic needles where they just shove it in, press it down, pull it out. However, I have a fear of giving blood, because you know, they shove a BIGGER needle in your arm, and you watch red stuff come from your arm into a little baggy, makes me feel a bit lightheaded.
kids could you leave the room? ok....
FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
UUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DELAYED AGAIN!? NO WAI!!!!!!!
Nice job on that:) It looks very nice.
Too bad everything lags like mad when on imageshack for me:(
Well, seems to me like you should just do some good ol' motion tweening. Design a model for these characters, limb by limb, in a perfectly simmetrical pose. Once you have done that, you can put him in alll kinds of poses anyways.
just ignore the haters, if you do they will all go away. I know I'm contradicting myself, but I don't care.
