Great colors, I gotta say though, the stick man really ruins it for me.
Does this count? Or is it not hot enough for a pin-up thread? lol

that's no excuse, there should be preporation, your proportions are pretty bad
too much color, and why is there a motion blur effect?
You know what, screw it. I looked up how to make my image transperant (even after I asked around this website multiple times as to how I go about doing it, and no one answered), and considering I don't have photoshop, it's way too much work. So if the quality of my art alone doesn't get me in this collab, then whatever. I don't want to be in it if I have to continue doing work after I finish my piece. Don't see me as stuck up, I'm just kinda pissed that NO ONE could tell me how to do it, then I look it up, and unless I buy a 700 dollar program, it will be very tedious work. I'm not going through that tedious work just to have a shot at a collab. Which is a shame, because I was really interested in getting in. But sorry guys, I'm not willing to do anything past creating the picture. Seeya.

ok, the guy clearly stated that he wants a png., and it HAS to be transparent, so what the hell .__.

hahahahaha
the fact that your name is "the anti fulp" just adds to it ^^

ahh this will be good practice for me!
I shall attempt to color.
by the way, you should try out sumopaint.com, it's no photoshop, but it's free, no downloads, and you can color really nice looking pictures.
I'll throw something in. Should I color this? Make all the wires all multi color and junk?
Ok. Can ANYONE, like literally ANYONE tell me how to change my pirate to a png, as well as making him transperent???? I'll post him again

I'm just saying that I thought you drew that, my whole first post was based around that drawing.
Well you know, keep practicing. Definetly look at proportions dude.

As you know, the only way to get good at drawing is to practice, right? right. But one thing that I feel you could fix very quickly is your positioning. I did a quick sketch of your character, but I put a bit more thought into it, which is what I'm getting at.
I did this because I'm a very visual learner and it helps me describe much easier.I first thought of the character. Well, he likes to pretend he's a super hero, so I thought I'd give him a smug hero pose. First I mapped him out in red, then in blue. Notice on the red/blue skeletons, I indicated that his head is facing up and toward his right. I did this by making the vertical line in the center of his head curved toward the right and the horizontal line in the center of his head up. Where the crosses meet give me a easy to work with center of his head. Even though it seems like extra work, it actually makes drawing these things a lot less stressful.
With his body, I have it facing up as well. I tried to get him to look like he's puffing out his chest with pride. Notice the legs are spread comfortably (nobody stands with their legs dead straight together). And his arms are on his hips, just like a superhero.
It's very sketchy, and the anatomy is nowhere near tight, but I was able to mask that a bit by giving him some life. He's not stiff and rigid. This is very important if you want to animate him, because nobody wants to watch a lifeless drawing. Give him some life to where he doesn't have to say anything and you can tell his character.
I don't know if I was being helpful or just a know-it-all dick, but there you go. :)
fuck everything you did before and after this sketch. this sketch shows definite potential. you definetly need work on your coloring. so definetly STOP DOING DIGITAL for a while. let's learn to walk before we run, eh? Doodle every day with pencil and paper. try to finish drawings even if you don't like them. Then go back and say, "well, I could improve on this a lil' " then draw it again.
in a year you will be a high class artist, i garauntee. You just need to practice EVERY WAKING MOMENT. :)
I love that improvement from the first picture to this. Your getting better already.
how do you win a tablet?
I'm sorry. change the first sentence to "making transperent backgrounds un-transperent". didn't mean to confuse.
Ok, so I posted I think yesturday about how to make transperant backgrounds transperant.
NOW
I am submitting to a collab, And the image has to be a PNG and the background must be transperant. The editing site I use is SumoPaint.
so (step by step) can you tell me how to:
change my drawings to a png?
(using sumopaint*) make my drawing transperant?
*I say sumopaint, because at one point a guy walked me through it with photoshop terminology, butthe buttons are all different and they're all called different things.
PS
here is the picture. I'm submitting it to the pirate collab :D

hahaha I still think it's worth submitting, that's funny.

yes just not the option you were talking about. DOES ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SUMOPAINT, AND COULD HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM??
sorry for double post,

Right click on background > Layer from Background, add a new layer and place it underneath, select the layer with the linework, press W to select the Magic Wand, start deleting everything but the linework, fiddle around with Tolerance if needed, presto.
well that sounds like a bit of work, but I'll work on it

well what the hell do i do if I actually drew mine by hand, and it autamatically starts as the background?
I love your stuff, very abstract! My only suggestion is to work on the shading a bit, otherwise your stuff is pretty super dooper delicious.

all i can say dude: proportions.
you should study the human figure, get some ideas on the shapes and where everything's supposed to go. I really dig your colors though.

You should experiment more with shading maybe trying a more realistic picture instead of cartoon style.Well then, I'd say this is a good compromise. I realize that this probably needs some (meaning a lot of) cleaning up, but I tried a more realistic and sketchy grayscale while still staying true to my cartoony/humorous roots. What do you think? Did I do the realistic thing any justice here?
you definetly should have made it a bit more clear that it's a reflection in a sythe. perhaps showing the whole sythe?

it's not a png yet, i'll work on it later.
