Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer...fair enough. However I've already tried Google going through the first 50 or so hits. Sadly these have not returned the backgrounds I'm looking for. So as I last resort I posted here, hoping someone knew of a secret stash of great Earthbound backgrounds that google didn't.
I knew it was a long shot, but I thought it was worth a try.

Does anyone know of a good site where I can download backgrounds/environments from video games...specifically SNES games...specifically Earthbound.
I know there's probably a place to find this already on the forums, but I'll be damned if I can find it. So if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be super appreciated.

My apologies, I misunderstood. However have you ever heard a debt collector say "Oh you're in a tough spot, then I won't break your kneecaps." Not likely. The US owes Canada money, this is just our way of 'breaking your kneecaps'.
However, I'll also add that I don't think we'd actually go through with it, but a message needs to be sent to Dubya et al that Canada is serious about this, and we want FAIR TRADE! Simple as that.

If the US were ever to invade Canada, I'd hope they have a better reason than "They won't give us oil!" If that's a reason to go to war, I'm scared for this world we live in.
I don't know too much about this issue, catching only bits and pieces on the news and what I've read in this thread (which is a lot of numbers and acronyms for one man to try to process), however this is how it sounds to me. America is a bully who got caught by a teacher and was given a detention. Then the US went to the principal to complain about the teacher. Principal agreed with the teacher and ordered the detention to be adhered to. When detention time came the US was still out on the playground, refusing to come in. Now all Canada wanted was some playground safety, but the bully is still out there, still hurting our country.
Perhaps a bit simple, but that's how it plays to me. So it seems the easiest way to resolve this issue is for the US to serve their detention and then the US, Canada, and the Principal sit down and have a good long talk to prevent this from happening in the future.
Then again, maybe it's just me,
