Personally, I always look at it as if I'm being charged per hour. MW I forked out £40 for and I must of gotten at least 150+ hours out of that game, so I'm paying around 25p per hour of play.
Thats actually pretty interesting, lets work out how much we have paid per hour to play on CoD4!
So lets see, I have 32 days total playtime (jesus, looks wasteful now, I REGRET NOTHING!) so thats 32 x 24 which is 768. 768 hours total gametime..
So I worked out 5p x 786 is £38.40
Thats the closest I can get to £40
5 pence an hour man.. worth it.

Im just going to take Borderlands & CoD4. If MW2 is anything like MW, the long term value will be worth not trying to save every penny. Ive paid £40 for games before and stopped playing them after a week, whereas I bought MW for £40 and i was playing that for a long ass time. Good investment CoD4 is, and it will be to anyone who buys it for the first time in years to come.

It was my bed, which I slept in that night.
