About 1/4 of my posts have worked.
Do you check when you type out your message that you've actually checked it appears in the box, before you press Post It? And you're not just typing into nothing?

Go to your My Account and click the "General Information" option.
It takes, 5 minutes to click around and find where everything is now - was it that hard to do?

12? I am afraid you fall short by a long way. There are more likely hundreds of regional dialects in the UK.
When you are used to hearing one dialect, simply moving 5 miles into another town will bring one which at first glance appears the same, but has so many subtle differences it needs to be classed as its own. E.g. Dudley -> Yam Yam.

Napalm. Lots and lots of napalm.
England ( live-in ), Wales ( countless times ), Australia ( once, 98 ), United States ( once, 00 ), Singapore ( once, 98 ), Spain ( 5 times, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04 ), Gibraltar ( once, 00 )
My list is very small. I hope to expand it significantly in the next few years.

You've not noticed any of the propaganda for it in stores? The massive Treat Your Day This Sunday posters? Or the ravaging of card shops this past week? Or that Top Gear's driving anthems has sold out?

Yeah, people play "footsie" when they get to secondary school.

Also to the OP, congratulations! You made it; after all this time, you finally made it to 17! Happy Birthday!

We pay around £25 for the fastest our line can sustain, which is around 6mbps - it's a shame we can't get any more juice out of the line, else we would.

Yeah, maybe you should sit down and think : why the hell do they hate me, what makes me so that people who are trained to get on well with people my age, and interact with others my age for a living, think that i'm a jerk? When they seem to get on well with everyone else? Maybe it'd be a push in the right direction for you.
As for the wider teachers-with-guns thing, being from the UK, guns are restricted here now, putting them in schools, in the hands of teachers, is nonsense. Teachers work by trust and respect; not through fear and intimidation.

Agree. History puts today into context, and makes it understandable. It's a vital part of understanding how society works, why the world is structured as is, and also offers a glimpse, through reflection, into the possibilities of the future.
It broadens your mind.

I have no first hand experience of this, but I would imagine that such people have evolved more subtle metaphors for the art of grooming.

It's hard to define. In the brains vs brawn argument it refers to those that are physical, rather than mental. An aspect of physical fitness = brawn. The verbal opposite of scrawny.

Is there anybody who can suggest some websites where I can ask these questions?
Thank you very much.
This is not the right place to ask questions which you will use as part of a research paper, no. Newgrounds is not a credible academic source of information, and you will, in the majority, not get reliable or useful sources. And citing newgrounds.com on an academic paper will definitely not reflect well on your work.
Do some searching, look at websites focused on the topic - e.g. nycsubway.org ( it took me literally 10 seconds to find this resource, by searching google for new york subway )
More importantly, if you have no idea where to start, ask the academic leader for your subject - they are, believe it or not, there to help you.
At 5/29/07 07:53 PM, HammerOdawn wrote: Yes...Harvard or something did a study on it and found it just as reliable as any other source because it usses the encyclopedias as sources + they have programs that fix most of the stuff people change as jokes...
That doesn't make it accurate, especially on topics of intense academic research. If your paper depends on it, yeah, use Wikipedia to get a quick overview of the subject, have a look at any sources that it cites, but NEVER use it directly as part of your work. No matter how accurate that article turns out to be in the end, there is always a risk you would catch it when it wasn't accurate, or didn't agree with mainstream theology ( and instead indulged the fantasies of some conspiracy nut ).
The difference being, the 13 year old that wrote the page on Wikipedia, isn't as trusted or in such a position to write on the subject, as the PhD. endowed professor, employed as a specialist reader in the subject you are looking up at a recognised University, that you should be quoting instead.
And as for encyclopedias in general ( and here I am referring to those written by professional researchers ) - citing those for any argument is academic suicide; they will very rarely, if ever, go into the amount of depth, detail and discussion on a subject that you will need to submit any serious paper. They provide only an overview, at best.
Look at the sources used by wikipedia, and encyclopedias, go out and get a few of those journals and key texts, read those, look at their bibliographies and go out and get a selection of those journals and texts, read those, look at their bibliographies and go out and get a sele.... etc etc
And cite items that have only been published, or on trusted academic websites ( e.g. university pages, or the homepages of leading authors ).
Your paper will be so much better for it.

The same happens when building up blam and protect points. All you have to do is one day, say "nah, i'm not going to b/p anything today, I can't be bothered" then bam - it'll take you days to get back into the cycle.
And as for the levels being important, so much so that you actually complain about what level you are at, pah, at the end of the day - it's just a website.
