Well I prefer my kills to be artistic when I get good enough and a game. EX: When we destroy a team in left 4 dead I always stop my team from killing the last person and torture him by making noise and letting him get 3/4 ways to the end and smoking him so that he feels like he had a chance but he didn't take it. Alright I've been thinking about this for a while and how about something like a smoker but it has a worm coming out of its stomach and it will go into the backs of the survivor's necks and it plants seeds inside the survivor(s) that get attacked by it although this takes 30 seconds of uninterrupted seeding. These seeds cause them to become a random special infected after the 5 minute transformation time in campaign. In versus it will severely alter your running speeds from super fast to snail pace.

Yeah it works fine, just put it in compatibility mode for XP sp2, but you may not have to. If you buy a new copy right now, it will say that it is compatible with vista in the system requirements. didn't have to put it in compatibility mode personally.
