tyvm for ur input. this series will be animated, because manga style just doesn't create enough suspense. this series should be a sci-fi/action type. hopefully, it can give NG a better impression on anime.

sorry i meant for the first picture, before looking at your others.

also about the mud and dirt, idd it could be my metrosexuality talking but i hate dirt, mud, and sand, its uncomfortable to have on my body and is disgusting.

your works dont look very original, this can tell me or the viewers of this thread, that you are trying to adapt to another style too exactly, and because of that you are having a hard time keeping good proportions.

experiment a bit, and try working with smaller eyes

Response to: Perspective Animation Posted December 1st, 2007 in Game Development

idk, i believe true 2d perspective animation can only be done through fbf.

Response to: Perspective Animation Posted December 1st, 2007 in Game Development

none of those are what im talking about

Perspective Animation Posted December 1st, 2007 in Game Development

anybody can draw a frame of perspective, but animating perspective, like the camera is moving or the view is rotating, can be a little tricky. Any links that give a few pointers on this?

Response to: Need Background Animator Posted November 28th, 2007 in Game Development

just send me links or a few pics of what you can do first.

basically this is what we'll do:

ill send you pics like this
Background1
and you send me pics with somewhat the same detail
like this

its really really hard for me to draw lips without getting a breakdown

Need Background Animator Posted November 26th, 2007 in Game Development

if you have time on your hands for this, and you make a pretty realistic background, then go for it. Basically Im going to send you quick storyboards of what the background should look like and you can send it back anytime. The only benefit you can get from this is not getting out of shape with photoshop or painter or w/e. This can really cut my effort in half too, not that i want all the work to be dropped into your hands. (Anime series)

Response to: My Preloader Screenie Posted November 26th, 2007 in Art

actually the lighter bar behind the word"Loading" is the load bar. :)

-also, i like anime because if the style it is based on, anime is changing slowly if you look at old anime from shows like astro boy, and some of the newer shows like Black Lagoon. somewhere in this forum, one artist incorporated anime into the marvel style, and it was, to say the least, very nice. i DO dislike the lack of "thoroughly" done animation with the style, however.

Response to: Anime Posted November 24th, 2007 in General

i doubt Black Lagoon would make sense if it was dubbed, because Revy and Rock both need to speak a language, and Rock needs to work as a translator for the characters, and Revy actually speaks english in japan. If it was dubbed, itd be really confusing.

Preloader Issue Posted November 24th, 2007 in Game Development

ive been trying to make a preloader from many different tutorials, but they all have had the same problem. When i simulate the download, the bar never seems to "update", it just stays the same as it is.
i dont know what to do, everything seems to be in place... god...
