Shit, I forgot links existed. :L
**HOW TO CO-CREDIT OTHER CONTRIBUTORS**
First thing: Go to My Account. Next, scroll to the Flash Portal Settings, and click on Flash Portal Buddies. From there, you can add any buddy you like, in order to credit them. Once you've done this (and, I believe they have to accept... I can't recall), you can simply choice them in the drop down menu when submitting your game.
Hope this helps!

They've fixed it! Check it out, then.
Keep in mind, guys, it's cool if you're a few hours late. For now, just keep your cool. You'll still get to be a part of the collection, you'll still be judged along with the rest of us, and you'll still have a shot at some extra cash. :]
Even if you post it a day late - though you'll probably miss out on some things - you can still be added to the collection, and you'll still be recognized as a participating team. Just, try not to do that. :L
But yeh, I'm really excited for the rest of the games - though Team Hobbes seems to be having technical issues.
:I'm really worried about them. :[

I don't know! If you see them, tell them I said 'hi'.
So it's midnight, and instead of celebrating, I'm drinking alone.
If it is of any consolation, Adam... I love you.

Great start! Very short, I'll admit, but the deadlines don't give room for much else. :L Great art, nice concept, and overall a good engine. I'll give a lengthier review on the page. :]
Good work, Team Tolstoy!

In the first room, if you walk all the way to the left, you fall off screen. Just thought I'd pass that along. <3 It seems like the floor just doesn't extend that far.

Several (maybe more than a few) of these will be Front-Paged, and there will inevitably be a little advertising for the Game Jam 6 Collection. So, the people who don't get to play the games in the first day will probably still play them soon afterward. A week is more fitting for most - though I am sorry about your case. If you like, I can toss in some extra daily votes for you.

Kidding, haha. But seriously, I'd recommend hiring one of those guys. One of the coolest things in a game, for me, is a voice driving it. Concerned Joe is a fantastic example of that. It just makes it interesting, you know?
At 12/1/11 07:37 PM, 4urentertainment wrote: Naturally, musicians are more crucial to the game than voice actors or writers. Why would Austin leave a team with a voice actor, or worse, a writer if there's a perfectly good musician around?
Because that's not insulting. :L
I signed up as a musician and a voice actor, myself, wishing to do both, because I thought they could both add a lot. But because I mentioned I'm a better voice actor than musician, he put me in as a voice actor, which single-handedly took me out of the running.
I'm not going to boast much when it comes to my music, because it's not great... but there were a small number of less experienced musicians who made it simply because of their label.
I don't mind, myself. I can definitely deal with this. I figure, the fact that I don't get to experience this means someone else will. I'm glad for that. But I do hate the waste of talent here. Big-Johnny-13 is a great voice actor, and I really feel like he deserved a part.

Let's you and I start a support group.
Good luck to everyone! I'll be watching for the finished products. :]
Feel free to contact me if your wildcard doesn't turn up. I'd be happy to take part.

Don't worry bro, loads of people don't get to be a part. The list was just of the signups - not necessarily the confirmed players. I'm not going to have the opportunity this year either. But hey, if we keep working and improve our quality of submissions, we may have a shot next year. :]
Chin up, friend!
I could probably piece one together if you like. Are you just wanting an exact cover of the Gary Jules version, something new and different, or something based on the original?
I recently released a primitive WIP, and I'd really like some feedback on how it's sounding before I vainly put in the the major time to complete it.
Thanks a load!

I had it really badly, so nothing worked for me in the realm of face washes, diet, and antibiotics. But then I stumbled upon something called Claravis (or Isotretinoin) which is prescribed for severe cases like my own. Over the next month or two, it cleared everything up, and I had a SHIT ton of acne on my face, chest, back, and shoulders. It was a freaking miracle pill.
The idea that Gay means homosexual is only half correct. Gay has always had connotations of being used to describe "Stray lifestyles," hence its antithesis to Straight. This can be used to refer to anything out of whack or silly, which is why it was later coined as a term synonymous to Homosexual, being a lifestyle straying from the norm (also from the frills that are implied in the "Gleeful" sense of Gay). It's really not a bad term in origin at all, which is the only way you could talk down on it.
The other sense would be society's use of the term Gay. But even then it's not an issue, because it's become so widely accepted by International English vernacular to imply either use, easily derived from the context it is used in.
I don't honestly remember for sure... I think I found it because of some friends I made in Stick Arena. It was either that, or my sister's good friend showed it to me. Either way, it was sometime back in '05 or '06.
Oh man, that's so difficult...
The entire Newgrounds staff is pretty high up there, particularly Jeff, Tom, Wade, and Stamper. I'm not usually much of a BBS guy (You guys scare me), so that essentially leaves me with high profile artists and some of the cats from the Radio Chat. Soo I'll have to go with RubberNinja, TheWeebl, Oney, Harry Partridge, and xKore in that aspect. I dunno, I love everyone here. Even you.
No shirt, eyebrows down near his eyes, close-cropped hair, short, full beard, eyes slightly squinted, mouth open a tad and curling in tightly as if he's angry...
I wouldn't say he's a psychopath, but I sure as hell won't be asking his daughter to prom.

Am I doing this right?
The issue is learning where to draw the line, or whether a line is to be drawn in the first place. Are we human as a sperm cell? Or maybe we become human when intermixed with an egg? Maybe we have to be an embryo. But, perhaps a fetus's beating heart signifies humanity. Then again, we're not really very baby-like until the third trimester. Of course, we don't truly become a baby until birth. But... is a baby really human? I mean, they haven't fully developed either, have they? On that note, maybe children aren't human either - or even adolescents! Come to think of it, adults have a lot to learn, too. Is it death that makes us human? After all, it is the last step of humanity.
I guess the point I'm trying to bring across is that there isn't much of an objective answer, which is really damn inconvenient if you ask me.
I'm still not giving up masturbation.
IQ tests are basically bogus.
First off, you can have a score shake of a great many points on a bad day. I've taken several, and I've primarily scored around 130-150. However, I've hit 167, as well as 98. As far as I'm aware, my natural intelligence doesn't waver that significantly on a daily basis. Those outliers are crazy.
Secondly, IQ tests don't account for a lot of things. They're solely meant to diagnose cases of the outliers; unusually high or low levels of adaptivity, used for educational purposes. That said, they exclude a multitude of factors typically attributing to a person's overall intelligence. For instance, levels of creativity. I've known of plenty of diagnosed geniuses who had a severe lack of creativity. They could memorize and learn with ease, often able to calculate at higher speeds than most, but they had no natural ability to apply their knowledge productively. I've also known of several low IQ'd fellows who are commonly known as geniuses, especially when acclaimed for their artistic nature or something of the sort.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't like how caught up some people get in IQ tests. Hell, even I've found myself stressing over it at times. When you can score a genius IQ and still feel like you're comparatively lacking, you know there's gotta be something wrong with the psychological effects of the test. I just want people to understand that your IQ doesn't determine anything more than your ability to grasp subjects. Even then, it can sometimes make little difference. Sometimes I'll have a more difficult time learning something that others all seem to understand fairly quickly. A good example is social skills. I suck in that aspect. Most of the high IQ's out there do. Most midrange IQ's don't have the same natural ineptitude. I guess it's just which part of our brains develop more.
Anyhow, I can't even remember everything I meant to say. I hope this isn't as unstructured as it feels. Haha.
I remember these all too well. But I seriously loved a lot of the late 90's-early millennium cartoons, too.
Ed, Edd, and Eddy.
Rocko's Modern Life.
Cow and Chicken.
Dexter's Laboratory.
Catdog.
Angry Beavers.
Hey Arnold.
Doug.
Rugrats.
Ren and Stimpy.
Samurai Jack.
Powerpuff Girls.
Pinky and the Brain.
But then again, maybe those shows weren't as great as I thought they were. They sure did have an impact on me, though.
