Would it be legal for me to adopt Nicholas Deary? I'd love him on my team, but we currently have two artists.

Problem is, one is working all weekend, so he won't be able to play a very large role.

Precisely. It's the best choice you can make for an alternate, in most cases. Of course, sometimes the alternating styles in music can be great, too - but an extra artists is a lot of help.

As for wildcards, keep in mind that some of us are willing to be double-drafted. I will gladly enter another team or two as a second pick.

I'm a voice actor and a musician. I've got some samples of voices on my recent newspost, as well as some music in the portal.

It's not so much about the PM's as this specifically. He's not expected to be online all day, especially seeing as no one but the programmers have a direct association with this. Everyone else will just look whenever.

You've drafted him, so he's yours - unless Austin made the rules different for you.

I was wondering the same thing, seems pretty big for a jam

It all depends on the number of people signed up in each category. It could be that there are very few more in select categories. For instance, Wildcards are much fewer now that Musicians have their own category. Of course, that still brings it up to a potential of 6, but even then I don't expect it.

After that, you've got to factor in flakers, and in the end you probably have an even 4 or 5 per team. It's a decent number for sure, but it's too terribly high.

I'm not worried.

The bible is considered to be a collection of man's experience with God more than it is a religious textbook. Or at least, that was the idea. In Europe, it is largely seen as such, but America adopted the Fundamentalist movement back in the 19th century due to an inability to cope with change and questions.

The only truly notable place in the bible the refers to homosexuality as a sin is in Paul's letters, which are no more than a notable man's opinions.

My father is a minister, and is personally appalled by anti-homosexuality.

I dunno. People are naturally resistant to change. Homosexuality was taboo, therefore it must always be.
We're just lucky that people are also naturally indignant, or nothing would ever get better.

Response to: Oreo's Pro-Gay Photo Posted June 27th, 2012 in General

When I was younger, I recall my mother switching from Crest to Colgate because she heard about Crest's Pro-Gay proclamation on the radio. I never really understood it, but the new toothpaste was nice.

The only way I would boycott a product is if the product itself was a result of something I strongly disagreed with. But boycotting because the company supports something I don't entirely believe in myself is ridiculous to me.

Typically, it's actually done by adding and removing the extra smoothing, but it's best to only be done when the character is standing still, to give an illusion of nonstop frame-by-frame. Otherwise it just gets redundant.

I'm probably going to do one tomorrow when I'm doing all my other voice acting. I suppose I could also try Riley, but eh... Haha.

Though I am a bit worried about what's going to happen with her. There aren't many talented voice actresses on the internet, because most of them are just the only girls who took interest - so there's no way to weed the good ones out like there is with guys. But I'm sure they'll figure something out for this one.

I would definitely like to participate in this. I'm going to work something out for as many characters as I can, and post the best two ASAP.

Just for clarification: Will the quality of the script and background noises influence your decision, or is it mostly based on the vocal quality and their acting abilities?

How much you want to bet he was talking about the Lego Mindstorm program his school lets him use? Haha.

Plus, I think some people are interpreting it as 96 hours total development, as opposed to a 96 hour deadline. And, it actually sounds like a bigger deal if you use a smaller number, like 3 days.

It's like, day 1 you're excited, pumping out ideas and concept art, beginning engines, etc.

Day 2? It starts getting a little crunchier. You're throwing all of your finished material, hoping it's sufficient. The Engine's done, and the programmer is proud for the time being.

Then day 3 comes around. Suddenly you realize you're out of time. You start compiling everything like mad, and then the programmer realizes the thousands of bugs in his engine. It's about this time that he disappears into his closet to assume the fetal position for a day or twelve.

Stuff's hard, man.
