Work in progress. I'm going to cut out the hands because I really don't want to bother with them.

I like the colouring, it's all very bright and you have pretty much all of them. It would be interesting to see this piece in a more limited palette as well.

I should probably stop using every color ever on drawings.

Good to see you working on such an awesome collab! How's he gonna turn out, I wonder.. He looks sort of like a smarmy British type businessman or something, also kinda reminds me of Nigel Thornberry.. Keep up the

Nigel Thornberry is far too smashing to accurately capture in anything but the show. He'll be in the company of ladies.

Got bored and colored the fools in love. Though because of the size of the drawing I couldn't get a very good picture.

I honestly liked the first one way more, this one just looks too busy and i'm not a fan of that background color, a warmer one would have added to the gay feeling of the picture (IMO).

At 4 hours ago, JackDGreatest wrote: Here's a lollipop girl.
That's a very creepy looking lollipop you got there (i like it), but that neck is bugging me a lot! It looks like it's made of some kind of rubber.

I can agree that the devil thing seems a bit too busy and I now I think looking back that yellow would've been a better background color choice over the blue.

I fixed the lollipop girl's neck too the best of my abilities. I'll post it later.

How many times have you done this? How many times have we told you not to do this? Why do you keep doing this?

Anyway, you are getting much much better. Though I haven't really seen anything impressive out of you yet which is bothersome considering you do have a lot of potential to do something remarkable. I see little bits and pieces of great work in your sketches, I like the one red sketch of the girl's face a lot, just direct it all into something bigger, something that shows something is happening; you can do it you just haven't.

Thanks man, I'm trying to get over art block so this was kind of a "make it up as I go" thing. The colors were me testing out which colors blend nicely with each other so I wanted to use as many as I could.
Here's a quick scribble I did to try and beat the block.

I like the colouring of the spaceships, very bright/cartoony. The woman seems a bit stretched out though.

Yeah, I've got this thing that causes me to draw women really long. I've gotten better about it, but it's still not quite under control. If I don't heavily reference a woman when drawing they'll usually end up long and skinny.

Response to: The Meat-heads By Jack Posted February 8th, 2012 in Art
