Hey guys, I recently made an ArtForum account, so that with collabs everyone can be credited, and so as to fungate as a bit of central point. A bit like art101, but different, more focused on collective projects. I talked about it with capt-ben, and hes okay with it so, check it out.

Just purple, with shading n'such.
Random doodling.
The sizes were 500x500 so I thought I'd submit it n' see if it got in XD
No big deal if it doesn't, just thought It deserved a try.

Oopsie, skipped this one;
I like it but this is not exactly the thing Im looking for in the collab. Id prefer something like your other piece.

Cool, though it kinda shows (knowing your other work) it was a quicky. Im saying in, but be sure to make another one, kay?

I just noticed that the nose and mouth were actually better in that first scetch you posted.
...
Seeing as im doubleposting anyways; the red stripes in your drawing are very dark; they could have used some more highlights, to make them look less like cloth and more like paint

Response to: Kratos help! Posted May 25th, 2010 in Art

its a nice job, but the face isnt exactly spot on. His nose and mouth are too small, and his jawline could be a tad stronger. Heads/faces can be very difficult; but (or maybe because) they are one of the most important aspects of a figure. They are what make the "real" kratos look rugged and badass and dont-take-no-shit-like.

my vote goes to thies

and here is my submission for this week: Fashion Bear

big view recommended; I wont hide details for you.

body|head+hand|other hand

I think the biggest challenge for me was stretching the collar; it had to be about thrice the original size.

in your first two pics you might want to check out the anatomy of the legs; both guys seem to have no hips (should be broader there) and the thighs seems too short

That is what I'm wanting to do with this image for my animation, but I don't know where to start with the texture of the paper, should I go to photoshop with it? will that mess up the 'vector' hands? I just need help detailing the texture, so any tips or tricks will be helpful. Thanks.

scan a piece of paper; or download a big image somewhere. I dont know how it would mess up the vector hands; but generally those really detailed shots are just single frames (i.e. no animation) which are altogether in a different style. So perhaps it would be a good idea to draw it out in flash then redraw it in photoshop.

I wouldnt be so sure; he might have exagerated a bit; but it still might be very legit. There are millions of charities like that; but only a few of them really get succesfull, this could very well be one of the not succesfull ones.
Nevertheless, it can never hurt to help this guy and create a logo.

If youre referencing to the thing as a whole; I dont know if there is a specific name for that; It has some pop-art vibes going on though; the dots are halftone dots.

Yeah, I guess some explanation might be justified here; Ive recently been getting more into abstrahism, above pic and the one with this post are examples of that. I`ve always liked doing diverse stuff, and I always have been doing cartoony as well as realistic art. For me, this is yet another angle to work from, and its one Ive got lots to learn in, which I like a lot.
So, even though the "fox hunting"-pic might not be a big deal to you, for me its an important step.

this one was made for the big-jonny-13 chow
