I started one; drew the head several sizes too small for the body; and stopped.

Yeah and something about making it into a book and awarding poeple a papercraft award... the guy was a total idiot.

Is fine, thought It`d add a bit more variation to the collab, but its your call. I think my poem should be positioned a bit higher though...

As long as im still commenting on the drawing; The guy was more or less modeled after myself some 15 years ago. I tried to emulate the pen and watercolor feel, which I think worked fairly well...

Robots don't feel pain.

When I was younger I had a robot.
It was made of metal and plastic and paint.
It shot lasers from its gun.

One summer day I left it out in the yard,
and autumn came,
and winter came.

March 15th was the first nice day that year.
My robot had spent the entire winter outside.
And it had forgotten to put on a coat.

I don't know why I felt sad...

Robots don't feel pain.

I think renaenae was referring to the rule that says you must start each topic with a piece of your own art included in the first post. Thats why she was sad, not the quality of you drawings.

could be wrong of course.

Anyways, I always like these whore for a day threads, they bring a bit of activity to the forum. And I can only assume its a great and fun excersize, so its a win-win really.

These threads make me want to do something like this; but I need to work on speed sketching first.
