You might think so, but trauma and coma do not rhyme. Trauma rhymes with comma, but not coma. Trauma is phonetically Trah-mah and coma is Co-mah.

Yeah, that is the entire point. At first glance you would say it doesnt rhyme, then you start to wonder wether it was maybe intended to rhyme, but didnt quite....
I found it distracting, that is all I mean to say. As I said, It is your piece so keep it the way you want it, but personally I would have changed it.

Cool as always, though I have definately seen better from you. I couldn't really make out what is what on it though...

If you want to compare it to something, I guess you could compared it to something like egorapter's easter eggs, when it's all happy and light at the beginning, but the last statement is all serious and forceful.

Yeah, I thought so, I think I was thrown off by the fact that Trauma seems to rhyme with Coma. Maybe it would be better if you used some complicated medical term instead of coma.

Since you are asking for it.
As the guy above me said, you are not getting a lot of responses because there is not a whole lot wrong with your art. It doesn't really stand out though. Some things you might want to look into:
-perspective. You are using a lot of top down perspectives, which makes everything a bit dull, Top down perspectives would typically be used for getting a nice overview and stuff, not really dynamic. You could try
-> take a low view point.
-> give characters more perspective by making closer body parts bigger.
-Coloring. On your colored pieces, it is all pretty flat. You have added some shadows, but not enough. Try to add some more shadows and highlights.
- Lines. U have quite a realistic cartoony style (it is cartoony, but relatively realistic) so whether or not you keep the lines is up to you. In cartoony style you would typically keep them, in more realistic drawings you would remove them. It all depends on what you want your drawings to look like.
If you keep them, try to make them darker, i.e. Black. Now they are greyish, wich means that when you have lines on the darker areas (e.g. the green pants on the coloured drawing above this post), the lines are actually lighter.

The art isn't great, but I wanted to portray the story of the comic more, and the childish artwork adds to the childish idea behind the comic, which is because it takes a child's poem (five little monkeys jumping on the bed) and takes it to a whole new [darker] level.
Bigger version here.

I don't know about this one.... It looks to me like you are combining two jokes...
First you would have the joke of taking a childrens poem and making it dark. Secondly you have the joke of all the panels anding in -ead/-ed/-aid except the last one which only rhymes with itself.

I am not sure whether you intended the last panel to be seperated from the rest in that it does not rhyme, except with itself. Either way I think you should change it to something like "he suffered brain-damage, and now he is dead". That way you keep the focus on the first 'joke', and even strengthen it.

Not much is known about the Behemoth, on the rare ocasion of one of them venturing as far from the center of the galaxe as our solar system they might be seen as it passes over the sun, blocking its light.
It is though that these giants travel through space orbitting around stars and large planets, transferring the circular motion away from the star to 'jump' to the next planet/star.

Be sure to make one though, Sure you might fuck up. But it is a great way to trie something, let it fail, and just try again next week. You will (probably) see yourself improve every week.

You sir, just saved me a 1000 word post. I concur. I understand that you have a business to run, but when loading Metal Gear Solid Collab 1 loads before the all the ads finish, there is a problem.

Poeple!
This banner was needed since the new layout did not work for poeple using ad blocker. The banner was needed to make the layout work.
This problem has been dealt with, which might be why there is no interest from staff members anymore.

Actually, My post (I can't speak for johnny) was not ment as a complaint, but more as a tip. Having tens of pictures of the seme character just with different colors might scare poeple of. poeple that otherwise could have offered you usefull advice. If poeple comment to your artwork now, it will probably be about what color scheme they liked best, which is good to know, but it does not really help you become a better artist.
Personally, I think art is about putting your own feelings/emotions/experience/opinions onto paper (or music, or sculpture...). Which basically means I think you should make a piece of art which you like, examine it closely yourself, untill you are quite certain you do not know what to improve on it.
After doing this you can ask poeple for comments or critiques.
This is your thread, so feel free to do it whatever way you want to, but if you do it my way, it will prevent a lot of comments with "that sucks" or "pick a different post", or just with comments which you were already aware off.

Sincerely yours, Jables

The pic is too bright to see any lines...
I can just barely make out the outlines of the face, some I can't.
As for the actuall comments on the piece itself, the eye looks too light, but this could be part of the problem mentioned above. It might help to put in the lightest and darkest tones as reference. Otherwise you might end up with an entirely too light/dark piece.

I appreciate the people who gave me criticism, it has helped me stay somewhat positive. I am not giving up on art, but I'm not going to do it here. Any mod that sees this please lock this thread.

Too bad, My advice would be to try and participate in as many collabs/contests here on the art forum as possible. (think COW, CHOW, Notepad drawing (closed), castle newgrounds drawing)
Not only do they give you a starting point for your drawing (you have some general direction, which often makes it easier to come up with something), they generally have quite a nice, constructive ambiance. They are a great way to improve your skills.
Keep it up!
