Okay, I've been producing episodes of a cartoon series called "Tywo at Large" for Newgrounds for the last.... 4 months? and I've got a serious problem all of a sudden.
Currently, I'm working on the 3rd episode, completely blind. What I mean is, I've been animating WITHOUT voice audio for the last 6 months, (Yes, I've been working on this episode far longer than any of the movies have been on this site). Usually, I'd only do this random scene building for about 1 to 3 months and then my friends would set a day where we can go record all of the voice audio for that episode. Takes roughly about a day or two to record a 5 minute episode, attention span can quickly dissipate.
Well this time around, my friends are really cutting it down to the last second, at the worst possible time. One of the main voice actors for my show, Zac Shedd is going off to college in two weeks, I was planning on recording his audio for episodes 3 through 5. It's most likely not going to happen because of how flaky my other friends have been recently.
What I want to do is break my dependency of my friends' sound equipment so I can record audio on my own.
Before I ask what I need to ask, PLEASE GO CHECK OUT THE LINKED EPISODE BELOW! I'm not trying to get more hits or whatever, I just really want you to see the audio quality I've been recording at so far.
Okay, here's the question, what's the cheapest, highest quality microphone I can get in the next week so to save my movie?! Just that, I already have Adobe Audition. PLEASE HELP!
