Yes, it is true, [adult swim] has had a slight decline in recent years, and by the way, a rant should be longer than just 4 detached statements...

I think there's a reason they're scooping up a lot of occasionally god-awful sitcoms and stuff like that... It's a ploy. They want their own network, HARD. The schedule's been creeping earlier and earlier for the last few years, now they're at 10:00 every night! They've been buying shows like "King of the Hill" and "The PJs" (Neither of which I think fit very well), pretty much just as an effort to expand their programming block.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had their own full network by 2012... They're already listed as a seperate entity from Cartoon Network according to the Nielsen ratings.

I'll go help them out by sending them some of my own animated goodness. :P

I had seen A LOT of ABC ads for Scrubs though over the last few weeks, better than any advertising NBC ever did.

It's the same writers, Scrubs was always produced by ABC, but broadcast on NBC. they're just trying to steer the show's writing back towards its roots. Also, season 8 is Zach Braff's last so if they have a 9th season, he won't be around and Aziz Ansari (Ed) will somehow step in as the new main character or something like that.

Scrubs airs on ABC now in the United States, I think it was simulcast on Sky One or something in England so you can go ahead and explode Lyrian. Also, they've got some pretty good webisodes on ABC.com now involving the new interns from the new season.
