Well, my town is fucking retarded so the fireworks are tonight, July 3rd. So I'll be going to a graduation party one of my classmates is throwing and it'll porbably be a big bonfire-style event. As for actual 4th of July, Hmmmm..... nothing.

I absolutely loved that show, I even remember watching the first airing of it on Adult Swim back in 2001. What originally drew me to the show was how it was animated in Squigglevision which reminded me of "Dr. Katz" that used to air on Comedy Central. Same brand of humor, same 90% improved stories. Still love it.

Btw, anybody notice how "Dr. Katz" is on Comedy Central again at 8 am???

I watched it online a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. I had been waiting for a while to see it and was really excited to finally do so. It was a very good, not cheesy way to end the series, very conclusive, like "fuck you, it's impossible to continue on from here" and that's what a good series finale is supposed to be. I am REALLY glad they completely ignored their school, because the season and a half where they were in school just pissed me off. So anyway, well written, well animated, and it's good for them to finally leave that fucking cul-de-sac.

Hey! So am I! :D I'm in my 4th year counseling for the Sayre Summer Recreations Program. Goddamn, nothing like 250 screeching children to wake you up in the morning, amirite?! Big difference is that my program is only a day camp, I only work from 8 to 12. And it's only $5 for a kid to join for the all the 8 weeks, $50 if you like outside the school district.

Well, Luis originally ducked out back when this meetup was unfortunately scheduled the same week as WizardCon. He didn't get the memo that we moved this thing.

As for Tom, he asked about if he should come, but the situation has been such a clusterfuck that I told him to go at his own discretion. I was all set to go, but my parents pulled to plug on my chances. There were A LOT of things that went wrong and it sucks that we didn't get to tell you guys to stop before it was too late. Beta said that the meet's probably postponed for 5 weeks or something. Don't take me up on that. But I still won't be allowed to attend as long as I'm living under my parents' roof.
