And as a final note, I am sitting here waiting on the cable tech to get here to work on my connection which is once again giving trouble. It wouldn't be such a total waste of time if I could pull the big file UJ's off the server and vote on them but, I barely can get small files and the BBS to load. God, I used to think dial-up was bad.

Sorry mate, I remember last New Years the person who got first deposit was way excited. I thought I'd go for it as well if I was around this year. After viewing the last deposits screen, my girlfriend says I 've never gotten that elated during an orgasam. My kid thought I had lost what little sanity I had left. She even went and hid in the bathroom. :p Truely I was happy for some reason.

I personally have been combing the list of responding authors Bahamut7 put up on page 40. The thing that impresses me about that list is; those authors seem to really want pointers and appreciate good reviews with lots of details.

Much of firefox 1.5 preferences are carried over from the last version you had. For me that was version 1.0.7

This is a work around

_If you're getting a drop down bar when you click on the sign-in button you'll see a button on _the right of your browser saying "options" on said bar.
_left click the options button and a drop down menu will appear.
_at the bottom of the menu will be an option saying,
_ "show 'http://www.newgrounds.com/gold/login.php' "
_click on that and it will give you the log-in menu

Its only one extra step and for me its worth it as firefox is the safest browser I have found.

And on a side note, since most of the B/Per's hang out here, is anyone getting the "stop trying to cheat the system" error message when they vote on a UJ? I get that on really small file sizes like 200K or less or really large file sizes like 4 or 5 megs with a 3 second animation loop and a whole MP3 attached to it. That error message disappeared after Clock Day 2005 and returned for me just before Christmas.
I realize I am a little quick on the "O" button on crap entries but seriously, I don't think I vote unfairly. Is this some kind of glitch?

Darwin still has the opportunity to thin the herd, just not as much as he used to. I generally find around here, the ones that are stupid enough to get "Darwinized" generally can't be arsed with the simple safety instructions either. But yeah, removal of the safety crap would make the process a bit more efficient.

I noticed the 1000 exp gap between levels as well. It was an eye raiser for sure.
