To those who are just complete dicks, rude, annoying, whatever you want me to call you... Here is an image that I am currently working on. I re-did it this morning.... it has taken me about 2 hours. It I would say is like... 0.5% finished. After I am done: Outline... I color it, then add another layer, shade it, and color it more. Then I go back and delete the "Shading outlines".

You just add another layer, lock the original.
Use the line tool, then BEND it into the shape you want. (I use line tool, not PEN tool).

So Johnny Utah and I were talking and we came to the conclusion that my Guile wasn't cut out for this contest, because I made him not look like a sprite anymore.

yes i used my 30 day trial of photoshop, its currently 11 days into the subscription, so im using it as fast as i can. the dodge and burn method is how i shade, i dont do it any other way (beside the yellow, whenever i burnt that it was to red, so i used a feathered black brush on 6 opacity). I didnt use blur very much, almost not at all, beside the black seam running up his leg.

Figured as much, not the fact that it was a trial just the fact of photoshop. Pretty good!
