And again you, like so many others, is assuming Catholicism is christianity. When in fact it is not.
How are we catholics not christans, isn't the teachings of Jesus the basic thing in christianity.
Yes they have the bible as their holy book. But the catholic faith is a massive collection of pagan rituals. Virgin Mary, for example, she is doesn't play a large role in the bible (other than birthing Jesus) and there is no commandment stating that she must be prayed to. The Virgin Mary is essentially, goddess worship (for more on goddess worship, read the Davinci Code). Catholicism was the successful attempt by the Roman Empire to assimilate multiple pagan cultures without revolt. The best example being christmas day. So no, considering the above I don't belive catholicism to be christianity
I agree. Catholicism is a religion that is based on ancient pagan ideas, e.g. Jesus being born on Dec. 25th or "Three wisemen following a star in the east or Jesus being ressurected at "Easter". What Catholics did was, they changed a few things that they didn't like and made Christianity look like a pagan religion. BTW the word "Catholic" means universal.
