I agree with you, 100%. However, it may be obvious that there is nothing "self-evident" about the suggestion that "all men are created". Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness can do without the religious motivation.

That is bullshit! America was not founded on any christian principle, there are those amongst the founding fathers who made many choice statements against the church, Thomas Jefferson was one such case, he did NOT put "In God We Trust" on US Currency this didn't start until 1955! At that time, if you weren't in church every sunday you were in serious trouble! That is why they instituted the separation of church and state! There is absolutely nothing in the bible that influenced The Declaration of Independence, The Bill of Rights or The Constitution! How much longer is The Christian Community going to keep up this charade?

I do not believe America does hate England. I do not like to believe the hate on either sides of the Atlantic. I'm sure there are those who do but it's a very small minority and anyone who does on either side is an asshole. There is nothing to be gained by hate especially for a nation who has proved themselves to be an ally and a great asset for nearly a century now. I think maybe it's actually The French that Americans are not too keen on. The old "We saved your ass in World War 2! There would be no France without America!"

I will definitely go to England. I even have it on my "Things to do before I die" List Along with going to Australia, Ireland, Germany and others. It's a little too long to be said here.

I tell you, I am just so sick of everyone who just denies evolution and are willing to take it so far as to make it so that you can't teach evolution in schools. We must teach intelligent design. Fossils, genetics, did you know that on the genetic level humans and chimpanzees are 97% the same? We are indeed so close that no, you can't crossbreed humans and chimps, but you can, however do blood transfusions from chimps to humans and vise versa as long as their from the same blood type. Thing is, the field of vision of the religious community is limited by their belief that the earth is the center of the universe, and it's only 5,000 years old, whereas the scientific community's vision is limitless by our vast knowledge and unquenchable thirst for even more knowledge and their never ending quest to better ourselves. We will never find a perfect balance between science and religion, and in the end we will have to put all our trust in SCIENCE! Seriously, what are you gonna do when you need a new heart? Pray for a new heart? No you're gonna want to trust science to get you a new heart.
